Finally got a chance to spend a little vacation and we decided to go up north in the country. Still a bit tired from the long bus ride I was eager to go out and even get lost in the process. Sometimes getting lost leads to discovery of unique and awesome places. This is what we discovered while roaming around the place and trying to get back to our accommodation.

Village Cafe of Art

As we were walking around trying to get back and have some rest. Something caught my eye and I asked my wife to stop and go back. It was a cafe and the menu seems to be common. I looked down the stairs and what I saw made me take our my camera. It was not a usual cafe that we often see.

Inside the design was strangely unique. Unnatural formation of the interior where pieces of branches and trees makes up the place. Not only that as I noticed that there were also pieces of metal, cement, glass and a little bit of everything were incorporated.

Strange formation of pillars were arranged in unusual places and it may seem that you could get lost within the trees and branches. This compels you to explore more and not think about the food as you are surrounded by art.

It seems there are three levels in this cafe and each level has a different restaurant. I was on level one around me I had a feeling of confusion, amazement and fascination all into one. I had trouble finding the tables but they are there if you take a closer look.

I saw the menu but I could not pick it up to check as I was very pre occupied checking the walls and the structure. I'm sure they have good food but I felt it was more like an art gallery.

There are some chairs there and I think a table on the right side. The place is so surreal and normally we would see a lot of chairs and tables. A pillar there in the middle made from cement and made to look like a tree. Even the floor is set up in a very unusual way. Large rocks that were laid down and cemented to look like you are on a foot of some mountain.

I went up the second level and the theme was different from the first level. Asian and still very unique. Metal frames on the floor and woven basket like roof. A table there on the left corner that seems to be only for one person.

Also part of the second level which is more cafe looking with decent number of tables and chairs. Looks like people come here for the burgers.

I wanted to grab a table and try their food but my kids were waiting back in our place. We had to go but I will try to go back if time permits to check the third level. This place has so much to offer, could be a hidden gem and a great place for tourist to visit.

We left still with the feeling of confusion but attracted to it's uniqueness. An amazing place which tells us that sometimes we need to get lost in order to discover and leaving with a mystery. I would have loved to talk to someone who could explain the architecture but sometime no explanation is required if you like what you see.

Time to get some rest for now as I'm spent from walking around. Hope you enjoyed my discovery for today and hope to see you again tomorrow.
