With These Wings - Original Poetry
Take These Wings
Take these wings to dance and play,
On gentle breezes
born to skim cerulean skies,
Echoing love in soft goodbyes.
Feathers dipped in ancient truth
Heaven's trails are built for you.
If you're fragile, if you bleed,
Ride the winds above the trees.
A caveat of transient life,
The storms will land you more then twice,
But when you rise
(You'll rise again)
You'll find strength enough to fly.
Time mends the broken place,
One tear shed is not erased.
You're a bird of paradise
A sanguine master,
Roll the dice
Sift the clouds of all their faith
You'll find rest with endless grace.
