Unspeakable Gifts
You are reflections of the sun;
the brilliance of your heart
shines in the windows of your eyes.
Your warmth penetrates
icy depths of sadness.
Your touch stirs the tundra of a
desecrated heart.
Your words are balm of Gilead
to a rent and ruined soldier
battered in this life.
Shadows are no match to the glimmer of a supple heart moving in
troubled waters of a floundering soul.
If you question your work,
or ponder your path,
your money takes a rear seat
to all your love and toil.
Question not what can you do,
but follow the hand which points you to a spirt
hungry for respite.
Each day you'll find a shelter for your smile and a word.
Your token spreads your light.

These lines in particular hit me in the sweet spot ;-) Going through some shit at the moment so I'm not able to make my usual insightful/analytical poetry comment... but this poem sung out to me on a profound level. Just what I needed to read, thanks :-)
