He traced a finger over jagged scars.
"You're healed," he smiles.
"I will never be whole again," she sighs.
He kisses her lips,
her scars and into her eyes
he dives.
She harbors secrets.
Better,
far better than before.
Their fingers entwine.
Her eyes are dark
glitter.
All things in them left unsaid.
Tears of liquid gold.
Drunk;
drink.
Consume life and rise-
cream to the top
of each and every cup.
Yes, better than ever
she is better than
ever she was before.
