[Ulog] January 28, 2020 - Too late

Last night I fell asleep fast without prednisone.

Waking up was a different story. My face and ear hurt. I thought I found the solution to my earpain but I guess the cold bedroom makes it worse. I lose my beanie in bed and try to keep warm but one ear has to pay for it.

5 am it is when I get out.
I can be fast. Waterpump on, charging phone, bathroom, brushing teeth, filling buckets, water cans and kettles and putting them on.
Scales, getting dressed, kid still in bed (hurry), making food (more like a snack) on the way and coffee to take along. Tea and water for now and the bus-kid starts washing his hair!
We have to leave!
I started the car and wait. It rained last night and the wind reminds me of the Saint Nicholas song we sang as we were kids "will the good Saint come at all if he sees this weather?"... One of the worries of a kid.

We arrived just in time at the bus stop and back home I jump outside in the fog and do the toch your toes thing. My toe hurts.

The youngest is out of bed.
A piece of (once bought) buttercake for it at school too and tea together. I clean the woodstove and try to answer comments with Steemreply. It does not really work plus I want to read @gertu her #hasil2020 post. I believe it is the one where she says she will start hosting a contest. 👍 I promised to give her a hand and will.

I drive the youngest to school and wish a great day. It laughs if I say "Hurray it's Tuesday."
Back hope I jump ten times outside again and fil one bucket outside with water plus drag the firewood inside.

The laundry dried and I tape the broken windown together. Later I will think out how to dry the laundry next time. We have no doors left and the house is very small.

It's noon.
I put some cotton wool in my ear and will feed the wolves first. It's raining. Good for wet feet (both new farm boots are leaking) and inhaling more sheep shit. We are surrounded by three huge mountains of shit of months old plus the sheep are in front of our gate now. This means literally walking over the shit.

Time goes fast.
I pick up the youngest at 2 pm and need to wait till 2:30 pm. It has to make invitations for the mayor and some other people for the Carnival celebration at school (Carnival is not our kind of fun and that mayor will throw the invitations away).

I am too late to pick up the bus-kid.
About 45 minutes later. I decided to leave because I did not receive any text or call. Apparently the provider was too lazy to send it.

Back home I make dinner for both children. It is after 4 pm so my eating time is over.
We have some toast broad. I bought it last week. It is dry and meant to toast only. The kids can eat it. Both eat it with salami and chocolate sprinkles, the bus-kid eats one with tuna/mayonaise.

Later I make a burger for both. The youngest with the last cheese left the bus-kid with onions.
If they like they can eat the white beans left yesterday and if the last 4 slices toast bread.

It is 7 pm
Bedtime for me. My warm water bags are filled. Hopefully the bedroom is not as cold as last night.

I did the jumping two times.

No Prednisone. 😐
