I think about the most suitable animal for me. Dad loves water so a shark I can ask for. I don't want a Flipper in the bathtub or Seabird because they are wanted by many anyway. With a shark, Dad can have a nice swim since I don't know how to do that yet and if I let out my pet in the sea no one will catch it by mistake if they go out for fishing. A shark is cool and has a nice set of teeth. For sure we will have fun together.

I would love to have a pet!

But first I need a new set of parents. Mine are always busy and have already animals of their own. This means they are less interested. Why should they give me what I want? They say there are already two dogs in the house, it is full and they are occupied. Occupied? Why do they say the house is full? The dogs are outside or in the kitchen and there's plenty of room underneath the roof I live. I'm not asking for an elephant - yet - just a mate to keep me company through thick and thin.
There's room. The hallways are empty, there's space in the living, there's a bathroom upstairs and the bathtub is empty and I... I don't care about sharing my bed. Why can Dad have hundreds of bees and an aquarium with many fish while I have nothing?

Dad, I yell, how about a rabbit, I saw a cute little black one. It's for free! Caroline's grandpa has many... but dad, he doesn't answer not even wave if he leaves on his bike.

On the other hand I better please my mother too.
She has dogs so she might like to have a walk with my pet as well. An alligator is a better option or if that's too much I take one of those cute holy crocodiles. If I have a pet it will be as special as I am.
