Das Wissenschaftsprojekt (D)/ The science project (E)

Ich habe eine Geschichte für Dich. Sie steht nicht auf sich es gibt noch mehr aber das wurde nicht aufs Deutsch übersetzt.

Das Glas stand auf dem Tisch.

Obwohl es eine kleine Kreatur enthielt, gab es keine Löcher in den Deckel.
Sie überzeugte den kleinen Jungen, dass es auf diese Weise besser sei und er ein wissenschaftliches Projekt daraus machen könne. Sie waren sich einig, dass die alte Dame jede Bewegung der "wirklich hässlichen" aufschreiben würde.

"Zeit um aufzustehen. Du brauchst nicht zu tun, als ob du schläfst."

Die gefrorene Ratte wurde sofort lebendig. Es sah wütend aus.

"Wie wagst mich in einem Glas einzusperren!", quietschte es.

"Halt die Klappe, wenn du länger als die nächsten zwei Minuten leben willst. Wen vertrittst du?"

Das böse Tier behielt seinen wütenden Blick bei, weigerte jedoch zu antworten. Die alte Dame zuckte die Achseln, nahm eine Spritze und steckte die Nadel durch den Deckel.

"Was machst du, du kannst mir das nicht antun, sie wird es nicht mögen, wenn du mich tötest."

"Ich höre immer noch keinen Namen."

Langsam schob sie die Hälfte der 50-ml-Spritze ins Glas und leerte sie aus.

"Ich liebe die Farbe Grün, sie ist meine Lieblingsfarbe. Gefällt sie dir? Ich habe etwas davon für den unerwarteten Besucher aufbewahrt. Das war schon eine gute Sache."

Eine grüne Wolke füllte den Topf, als sie aufschrieb, was sie gemacht hat.

"Was machst du."

Die Kreatur hustete und rang nach Atem.

"Dolly ..."

Es fiel auf den Boden und drehte sich hin und her.

"Interessant, der Junge wird zufrieden sein. Ich räume besser auf, bevor ich mit dem Abendessen anfange."

Sie leerte den Rest der Spritze in das Gefäß und legte es zurück an seinen Platz. Der Junge konnte das Glas und die Notizen am nächsten Tag abholen.

Summend schnitt sie Gemüse, Kräutern und Pilzen. Heute gab es Gemüsesuppe. Es war unnötig, ein Tier für ihr tägliches Stück Fleisch zu verletzen und zu töten.

I have a tale for you and there is more.

The jar stood on the table.

Although it contained a little creature there were no holes made in the lid.
She convinced the little boy it was better this way and he could make a science project out of it. They agreed the old lady would note every movement of the "really ugly one".

"It's time to wake up. No need to pretend you are asleep."

The frozen rat came alive. It had an angry look.

"How dear you locking me in a jar!" it squeaked.

"Shut up if you intend to live longer as for the next two minutes. Who do you represent!"

The nasty animal kept its angry look but refused to answer. The old lady shrugged, took a syringe and pushed its needle through the lid.

"What are you doing, you can't do this to me, she won't like it if you kill me."

"I still hear no name."

Slowly she pushed and emptied half of the 20 ml syringe into the jar.

"I love the color green, it's my favorite. Do you like it? I left some of it for the unexpected visitor. It was a good thing to do."

A green cloud filled the pot as she wrote down what she had done.

"What are you doing."

The creature coughed and gasped for breath.

"Dolly..."

It fell on the bottom and twisted back and forth.

"Interesting, the boy will be satisfied. I better clean up before I start making dinner."

She emptied the rest of the syringe into the jar and put it back at its place. The boy could pick up the jar and notes next day.

Humming, she cut the vegetables, herbs and mushroom. Today she would make a vegetable soup. There was no need to harm and kill an animal for her daily piece of meat.
