I had cw's and always liked them ...I have 3 pk rippers still and prefer them. I used to work at SE in Paramount so maybe this is why I like them better. This Quadangle is a rare find these days and a beat up frame will still fetch $1000 usd
Now that I think about it, PK’s taught us how to paint as kids, too, remember that? We would paint our bikes a couple times a month. Yes!! Those were the days.
never painted a pk, however we used to powder coat other bikes for kids in the neighborhood for money, and anodizing too. Used to make a lot of money when I was really young doing this.
It looks like its brand new, it does not look like its one from your childhood, only few people are able to keep things which used to bring happiness in their childhood, and its one of those, I sometimes remember how I used to spend my Sundays riding a bicycle.
I still have 5 of my bikes from childhood, used to race them and have always cherished them. I am lucky they are all collectors now but I will never sell them. I always took great care of them.. good memories and the fact that I can still ride them is great, I never grew too big (:
I remember those days like yesterday. I’m not sure which one was my favorite, the CW or the PK Ripper.
