👉Are you a cat caregiver or lover? Tell us.

I'm a cat lover and currently, I'm a caregiver. I found a little kitten at my grandmother's home. Since my grandmother had five other cats at home she was already facing difficulties in feeding these cats. She was in need of somebody who can care about these kittens. At that time nobody liked to have a cat at our home. Everybody hesitated at the idea of bringing the cat home. However, this little feline has captured my heart so much that made me plead, with my family to take it home with me.

Eventually, my brother assisted me to take this little kitten home. Over time, everyone in the family adored this cat and was very fond of him. He was a part of our family. We made countless joyful memories together. Spending time with my cat was like therapy during the pandemic.

Unfortunately, one day the cat vanished without leaving any trace, I spent hours and hours searching but I didn't see him any longer. This experience left me with deep sadness. From that day I swear to myself that I don't keep any pets. Instead, I will take care of those nearby my home and whoever needs help.

👉Do you think cats are unconditional friends? Give your reasons!

Yes, normally cats are very loyal to their caregivers. When I had my cat he always understood my emotions and was with me every time I felt low. He was a great affectionate companion to me. Early in the morning, he welcomes me with his purring and follows me wherever I go. Almost every morning I spend time cuddling with him. He was like an unconditional friend to me, his presence filled my room with happiness.

👉What do you think about the animal welfare of cats?

I believe that just as we chose to have a pet, we should be responsible for providing basic needs such as proper shelter, food, and water. Generally, cats love cozy environments which give them warmth. My cat enjoyed sleeping on my bed or sofa. Cats are always seeking love and affection from their family. Therefore, we should be kind and loving providing them with the foods that they enjoy.

As a cat mom, I always gave my cat the protection he needs. We should be aware of treating at least a small injury at home and if necessary, take the cat to a veterinarian for proper care. Regular vaccinations are important to ensure the safety of both the cat and others, as well as for their overall well-being.

👉Are there any myths in your community about cats? Share them with us

I have heard very little, and I don't care much about it. I'll share what I've heard with all of you, but I'm not sure if it's true.

• Some say if you encounter a black cat in front of your house when leaving, It means that the journey ahead may not be favorable as it is a sign of bad luck.

• If a cat makes unusual cry sounds around the home (It is not the usual Meow sound) it is believed that something bad is going to happen.

• They say cats don't die easily, as they have the strength to live seven lives long.

However, it's our responsibility to take care of pets and animals around us. They need our help, Let's nurture our kindness and treat animals with love and affection.
