My First Progress Report

in Newcomers' Communitylast month (edited)

Wow, I'm really excited to participate in this Contest because it helps me review my stay and reflect on how far I've gone on Steemit and how far I would go if I do better.

A summary of the communities you've joined, why you've joined them, which you like the most and why.

Since I joined Steemit I've joined a total of 30 communities, this was because I found the community interesting and because I wanted to read other people's post and expand my writing skills.
The community I'm most active are :
Steem kids and parents
Steem for Ladies
Steem for betterlife
Steem for Pakistan
Steem for lifestyle.

Why I'm active in this communities is because they have interesting and relatable topics like steem for kids and parents, the topics are mainly family related and it's very easy to write at ease. I love steem for Ladies because it's exclusively for ladies and I find it an honor to be part of the ladies of this great platform.
Steem for Pakistan has such interesting topics and stories to read and learn other people's views and I really love the community.

The topics you've been writing about.

Well, I usually participated in random topics I found interesting but as school resumed, I concentrated mainly on dairy game because it is easy to write and it's not time consuming, so I could have time to focus on my books and I'll not be overwhelmed. But once in a while I try to participate in other contests too but it's rare because most times we have issues with our light and I usually have a dead battery.

A list of key people you've interacted with. An introduction to the people who have had the biggest impact upon your experience so far (NOT an opportunity to tag whales) and the unexpected relationships that you've experienced.

I took it as an honour to connect with people of great minds and people who has achieved greatly on this platform like @goodybest, it was really an honor to connect with her and she's really an amazing person.

The next person is @imadear, I actually got to connect with her because she was always tagging me to participate in contest and I felt so excited when tagged as a newcomer that I was.

I'll not forget @mybest she has really been of great support to me and @adachukwu whom I connected with because we had the same mentor.

It was really nice connecting with this people and I'm glad I met them

Your most successful post - Why do you think it was successful?

My most successful post was a diary game I shared in steem kids and parents and it's my most successful because that was the first time I was opportuned to win a booming vote because I was nominated for it. I really felt excited and that had to be the highlight of my Steemit journey and I'm still hoping for more to come.

Other observations - What have you learnt and discovered that you weren't expecting to.

I learnt a lot on Steemit but I'll love to share a few:

I improved my writing skills to the point that I don't have to rack my brain to come up with a write up and I just got perfect by the day.

I discovered a platform where you can communicate with people all over the world just by your write up. It's more like a form of unity without discrimination and it's really exciting to be part of it.

Your plan and expectations for the next month on the platform (please don't mention growing your account!)

My expectations for the next month is to actually reach the hight I've been unable to through hard work and consistency and also to get to meet new people and also connect with more like minds and finally to improve my vocabulary.

I'm really excited to participate in this Contest

Not a great start... this isn't a contest and it's probably best if you don't approach it like a contest. It's supposed to be an opportunity to share your experiences with us - your feelings. What you've enjoyed, what you haven't enjoyed. What's gone well, what hasn't, etc.

Before reviewing your blog, would you mind clarifying something for me...

I see that you've been withdrawing through @mybest - if you only met her on the platform, why are you trusting her and not @zekanem to withdraw your funds? I'm interested in understanding how this withdrawal route works and how you learned about it?

Hello @the-gorilla I am her inviter and former mentor. I introduced her and others unto the platform and I have been helping her with her withdrawal (if you go to the beginning of her start here). But along the line (as humans that we are) we had disagreements which led to us parting ways(as I couldn't work with her anymore)and I believe that's why she is using this individual.
Asides that I do not have any problem with her. It was a peaceful separation.

I hope that clarifies things.
