Only human, Martin Parr exhibition
Today went to London with my girlfriend to see the Martin Parr exhibition "only human". I have been a fan for a long time, but this was the first time I have seen his work displayed.
Having a drink in the camp kitsch cafe. I think I fell in love with UK low brow culture because of Parr...
Some of the weirder pieces: Mexican made 3d self portraits incorporating photos of Parr.
It was good and most of the recent material was new to me. Slightly saddened that Parr decided to switch to digital in 2008, but I still like the new works
Was a total tourist and got some cards, a book and a T-shirt 😅
