My Actifit Report Card: November 10 2019
A happy Sunday evening to all my Steemian friends. Hope you all had a really enjoyable weekend and were able to get out on the roads or trails.
Decided to head back out onto the trail network a couple miles up the road. Ended up sharing the trails with a good number of other runners and mountain bikers but for the most part I was able to enjoy lots of solitude.
Interesting how the trail changes as it goes through different natural areas over the course of just a few miles. From starting off twisting through tall pines and oaks
with jays and squirrels all around, then climbing up the rocky single track along the dry creek beds. Hopping, skipping and jumping over the rocky outcrops dotting the trails (hats off to the bikers who zip up and down these narrow trails).

Then the trail breaks out into the juniper and cactus scrub with the bright sun shining down.
Always something interesting or beautiful to see when you run on the trails that you can't experience when you just stick to the roads.
So everyone take care and don't forget to honor all those who are/were veterans through the years. Their sacrifices should never be forgotten.
