My Gridcoin Sticker

Just showing off the cool Gricoin sticker that was gifted to me a few weeks back by @ruth-girl: 

The sticker looks a lot more cooler in real life than it does in the photos, my camera and the lighting in the room the picture was taken suck :)

The sticker has actually sparked the curiosity of many colleagues in my day-job and every one is really impressed with the idea of GRC (or at least they pretend to be!). I even convinced one to buy around 5.000 grc, although it wasn't tough since he already owned plenty BTC and ETH. Still, a small victory :D Hopefully I will convince him do some boincing too since he is in charity stuff a lot, just too lazy to setup everything!

Sidenote: If this is the first time you hear of Gridcoin it's one of the oldest alt-coins (about 4 years old) that rewards BOINC computation. When you "mine", you are essentially helping cure AIDS and cancer, search for extraterrestrial life, decrypt old NAZI messages and many other cool stuff. Here's some links if you want to know more:

Even if you are not interested in boincing, you may want to buy some coins for investment. The community slowly but steadily grows larger by the day and I think it's a good coin to HODL for the long term :)
