3Speak shall shortly update its Terms and Conditions for content creators to incorporate this requirement into their content. Any further violations of this condition shall result in your removal from being able to upload content to 3Speak.
We would also like to note that following previous scandals you had been involved in, we reviewed your content and saw that such videos as the 'Crypto Weather' were a sign of reform to your content creation style. We thought you should get the benefit of the doubt and have a chance to post to 3speak. We did not expect you to upload financial advice without disclaimers, and you can see from the comments below that this has somewhat upset several prominent members of the Steem community.

He was a champion for Bitconnect who fooled many victims, we all know how that turned out. Once a scammer, always a scammer.
So I fooled many victims giving them the advice to buy steem at $4 as well? What a scammer I am. Shame on me.
Don't get me wrong here. I'm not defending him. I bought a lot of bitconnect coins myself. And magic dice, BTC latina, Hero, and... fill the blank.
No one forced or fooled me to buy. That's my point.
Oh, I forgot to mention. I bought a lot of Pal too. I didn't just get them for free.
You're making the mistake by comparing an opensource system and open market trading to an "it's a secret bot trading giving you daily illogical returns just keep referring people and we will all be rich by doing nothing" pyramid hyip scheme.
How this is still something anyone can compare to legitimate cryptocurrencies is beyond me.
It's an easy answer.
90% of the population never heard of cryptocurrencies. The other 9% don't know the difference between BTC and other coins. That's why things like this scam happening.
For me is perfectly clear. I just wanted to point out how clueless average user is.
And the guy is theoretically still innocent until convicted as far as I understand the laws.

Well he used our chain to promote the scam and probably got a lot of users to lose a lot of money which he himself directly benefited from and then bought steem with it after probably and pretended to have lost his btc in a "hack". So I think some downvotes are only fair.

Steem and Bitconnect are like oranges and bananas, no comparison. Sadly, not everyone does their due diligence like we do, that's why pyramidal schemes like Bitconnect are/where successful. Btw my comment wasn't aimed at you, I never insinuated you were a scammer. Trevon is a known scammer, the FBI was on his ass, yet he comes back to Steem and everyone gives him the open arms. It's beyond comprehension.
