Early October '18 I had the pleasure to visit the capital of Denmark. Yes that is indeed Copenhagen - voted nr. 1 destination to visit in 2019 by @lonelyplanet 🎉
I can definitely see why Lonely Planet and many other travellers are a fan of this destination. It is fairly compact with most of the sights within walking or biking distance. It has an amazing infrastructure with the metro running 24/7. Nearly everyone speaks English and you can pay everything with your creditcard. Super easy but bring enough credit on your card (or multiple cards haha) as it is an expensive European destination. For a coffee and sandwich you easily pay 12-15 euros. 🙊 But boy o boy the food was amazing there...from delicious pastries to gourmet sandwiches, burgers & Vapiano pasta and pizza place (I am a fan haha 🤩) to exclusive restaurants only the rich and famous can afford.
As an coffee addict, I had to cut down a bit on my daily coffee intake because paying 5 euros for each cup is a bit painful! Crazy but that is life in Scandinavia.
