Steemit Facebook Advertisement Image Contest - Results and Winners (342 STEEM Paid Out!)
WOW!! There are some great artists in the Steem community! I am amazed :)
I am currently working on a Facebook advertisement to promote Steemit. I ran this contest to get help from the art / graphic design community to create the image that will be used in the ad. It was really hard to chose a winner!
First place will be used in the ad, and was awarded 75% of the liquid rewards from the contest post (converted to STEEM). Based on the payout of the post and the market prices of STEEM/SBD at the time - this resulted in 272 STEEM for the winner! I also awarded 10 STEEM to the top 7 runners up.

[Edit] What's I really liked most about this image was that it was simple yet attention grabbing and interesting. Also, there was no text in the image which is good for Facebook's ad requirements.

We have some real talent here eh? I absolutely love the winner. Also the entry from @angelromeromade, which I feel translates the monetary aspect very elegantly. Congrats everyone involved.

I like this @puffin :) this is good . I have a warm feeling, but others are blue and cold :)) it is just what I think :) but all are ok
To me the most logical thing to do would have been to actually run the entries as Facebook ads and see which one performed the best in order to determine the winner.
There is not much in place as far as conversion tracking. One may be better at getting 'clicks/views' but there is really no way to tell how many of them actually signed up (or stuck around for that matter). Also, it is expensive to run even one add. I'm not rich enough to be able to afford that may Facebook ads :)

Wow a lot of good ones it must have been hard to pick a winner. I also really like the one from @puffin for the old typewriter/desk feel combining with the new Steemit and the one from @angelromeromade that shows all the people in the background and how you can earn real money and votes from Steemit. Nice job to all that submitted!
