Central park Utrecht
Not just a photo post today but a little blog, and yes there also comes a monomad photo today😏. Yesterday we went to "Central Park", an one day music festival near Utrecht the Netherlands. It's called "Central Park" because Utrecht is located in the centre of the Netherlands and the festival is held in a park. More info on this festival click here
I went together with my girlfriend, just the two of us ready to party. None of our friends could or would join us, not all are festival peeps. But that don't bother us and we had lots of fun together.
Jumping around in front of the podium, chilling in the grass watching people enjoying a beer and wine, eating something on the food court from one of the food trucks with a beer and wine. Indeed there was a lot of beer and wine.
The festival terrain was devided in three stages. Main stage where some great Dutch rock bands and Kaiser Chiefs performed, a tent stage where it was more dance and urban performances and finally a alternative pavillion stage. We only visited main stage, we wanted to see the last performance in the tent but it was way to crowded when we arrived from the main stage. So we strolled on to the food court for a last snack and some drinks before we headed back to the train after a great day.
We saw the following musicians perform, and just heard some others while chilling.
Di-rect A Dutch rock band wot great stage performance, ready to take on the rest of Europe.
Raccoon A great Dutch pop-rock band with a small performance full of humor and great music.
Kaiser Chiefs English indy rock band, great performanc and great music. Follow these guys since their first studio album and can't wait for "duck" to be released.
All together we had a marvellous day yesterday!! And for today relaxing at home, watch a f1 race and having some drinks with friends. Hope you guys have a great weekend and to fi ish this post some shots from Di-rect and the Kaiser Chiefs.
