Third Time is a Charm
Yeah, today I have posted way more than normal. It's because today was the first day that I have felt a reasonable level of pain. It's not mind-numbing as it usually is. A post by @kintoallbeings inspired me to retry my hand at the #introduceyourself tag. Pain is pure as she put it.
Why @TheCrazyGM, well, from my previous posts you can see that I am a huge TableTop RPG fan which explains the GM part (Game Master.) The crazy part, well that is a bit more of a story.
I have had problems mentally since I was about 4. I had a traumatic childhood and it scared me for life.
See the thing is I am on the genius/sanity border and leaning way toward the latter. When I was 10 my IQ was 156 and I had/have a confirmed Eidetic memory. Drugs have kind of killed that for me in the more recent years as I am always on pain medication.
So about the crazy part. I have been diagnosed and treated for the following things: (Yes I know there is overlap with a lot of them)
- Generalised Anxiety
- Social Anxiety
- Panic Disorder
- Clinical Depression
- Mania
- Bi-Polar
- Schizophrenia
- Schizoaffective Disorder
- Somniphobia (Fear of sleep)
- Nyctophobia (Fear of the Dark)
- And the rarest of them - Dissociative Identity Disorder (Multiple Personalities, I think there are 5 of me and my wife and shrink can attest.)
Most of the problems have been with me for life, but breaking my back, that was the straw. Pain literally drove me mad.
Other than that, I am an open book, you can ask me anything and I will answer fairly bluntly. It's just how I am, I have been told I can be a douche at times, I don't see it, but yeah.
Why the third attempt at #introduceyourself? This is not a woe is me post, I am not pleading for money anymore, I've gotten to know a lot of you fairly well, but the main reason is I really, really want a verified badge. :P I am one and only.

This is a good idea. Introduce yourself as many times as you want. We are like onions, just peeling back layers. I might do another intro post. There is so much about us it's hard to cram it alll in one post. For instance I just realized I'm being perceived as a hippie for posting pro vegan lifestyles, but that is not the source of my reason for being vegan. I'll have to make a post on that alone....Cheers!
