Angora Cat
Semi-Long haired cats are longer than the shorthair but considerably shorter than the longhair breeds. They will shed considerably less hair in comparison to the longhaired relatives and the hair left around the house will be manageable if a regular grooming regime is put into place. If a grooming regime is ignored, build up of fur can occur and can quickly spiral out of control if left unattended. Helping with grooming will help with both hygiene and aesthetic improvement and is a much needed essential for all cats, regardless of fur type. Another breed of cat that has taken some popular choice in the cat world is the Angora cat. This is a completely different cat than the previously mentioned Turkish Angora cat and is actually related to another shorthair breed, the Oriental.
The Angora Cat is a gentle and elegant cat that carries a silky like cote that has an abundance of finer fur hairs all around its body. The fur around its neckline towards its chest will assume a beautiful creasing that shows off a differentiation in texture across its coat. There is less variation in the Angora cat and usually colours will be singular and never bi-colour. There are various patterning that can occur however if breeding with tabby etc. Their eyes are much bolder compared to some other cats as they sit open wide. This can almost seem as if a cat is glaring sometimes but rest assured that the cat is simply observing with great care and isn’t exhibiting any abnormal behaviour.
The behaviour of the Angora cat is very active and they tend to voice their issues when needed. They will make sure they are heard throughout the day and this is a fun way to interact with these cats as they will often use their intelligent personality to respond in audible fashion. With such an intelligent mind in place, the Angora has great emotional attachment is an animal that requires a greater level of companionship to not feel lonely. It’s a great idea to have a pair or similar to keep them occupied and of course engage with them daily to keep building a strong relationship with the cat. They will remain curious and should be included in most daily tasks going on in the house to satisfy their inquisitive nature. Owners who enjoy keeping semi-long hair cats will be able to maintain the coat of the Angora cat with a less demanding grooming regime.

Hi @thecatfiles . I once had a turkish Angora cat. He was the most loving cat. White as milk. Unfortunately I lost him.
