Another post in my the things you see in NYC series, now often I will title these post the Cool things in NYC but perhaps this is more the strange things you see.

For those in NYC this is something you may see now and again, and it is a huge inflatable rate that one Union or another will put up outside a building where they have issues or concerns with something is going on that upsets the Unions in some way.


I have asked at a couple at is can be that the company is hiring non Union staff or has unsafe practices and I guess could be for various other reasons as well.

Often nearby there will also be Union Members picketing the site, that wasn't this case when i saw this one, but again this was early morning so perhaps the picketing starts later in the morning.

I went with a bit of creative editing with this one since it wasn't that colorful or eye catching a subject

I hope the Subject Rats didn't scare anyone away, I wont say there are not real rats in NYC just not in this post :)
