Oneplace: The Answer To STEEM's Streaming Problem: Control You Content Plus Posting

in #general6 years ago (edited)

Have you heard of Oneplace.media?

This is another interface on the STEEM blockchain. However, unlike some of the other interfaces, this one solves some of the issues with the massive streaming of articles.

To start, the layout is very appealing to the eye.

The home page lists the categories that you opt to focus upon. What appears is controlled by you as determined in the setting.

You blog page allows for easy scanning of important aspects. Each post is listed along with the number of votes, dollar amount, and comment.

When you click on a post, it opens up as such.

Not only can you use this interface to manage the articles of others, one can also post on it, both comments and articles.

You will notice that the editing tool when posting an article are a bit simpler than on Steemit. This still uses markdown yet it converts to code for you. One simply need to press the "B" to bold something and the interface handles it.

As you can see, this interface was designed to access both STEEM and Golos. Also, as per a recent announcement, one can access the site using Steemconnect. Thus provides as added layer of security. Only the posting key is used to get on Oneplace. This does mean that money transactions are not available. Nevertheless, as a posting and content management platform this does a nice job

Like many applications appearing on the STEEM blockchain, this is a relatively newer project. So far, from what I can see, the development team did a nice job. This is a great option for Steemians. Over the past few days, I started to use it as my default way to scan the categories I am interested in. It provides a quick overview.

Give it a try and see what you think.

Wohooo! The last time I looked at this some weeks ago, it was not in English yet.
One thing when clicking around that impresses me, is it's speed!
Everything opens much faster and looks a lot snappier than with busy at the moment.
I won't use Oneplace for now though, because they don't use Steemconnect to Login and I don't want to give them my key. When they resolve this issue, I will be happy to try! Thanks!

They do use steemconnect to connect to your account. The log in onto the site itself only requires a posting key.

Ah, ok, thank you - there was nothing mentioned on the Login page on which key to use etc

Thanks for sharing bro ❤️

Thaks sharing is informative post.

Hello taskmaster4450...Thanks for the introduction to Oneplace.media. I am going to check it out. If I'm able to connect on it with Steemconnect and I'm secure on the platform and the editing process is smoother than Busy, then I will do it. Will onplace cross over to busy and steemit without any problems with my upvotes, comments etc? Just wondering!

Yes the upvotes and comments all appear on Steemit and Busy the same....it all writes in across the spectrum.

The one difference I see is you will not be able to do anything with your wallet on Oneplace.....since you only use your posting key to enter.....

I guess you could always go back to Steemit and make transactions with your wallet. I just like the idea of easy editing posts on OnePlace. Do you know of a post scheduler that will work on OnePlace?

Great feature to be able to choose the topics that you are interested in - that should improve the feed!

I tried opening an account with One, but I'm having difficulty doing so. It seems that my email cannot be verified or something to that effect. I hope these kinks will be ironed out soon, as I'm anxious to check out OneMedia\

That's an interesting app, from your description. I'll give it a try for sure. EDIT: I don't see where SteemConnect fits in. I see the login part needs an email and password.

Once you set up the email and password, you confirm.

Log in and then you use steemconnect to link to your steem account.

I see. I wonder why they chose to make a membership site, when one doesn't seem necessary?

I'll definitely check it out. For casual browsing, I don't mind the Steemit interface too much. But when I really try to get into it, it's a nightmare. So I'll have to pop over there, especially if it's through steemconnect
