Age Of Abundance: Decentalization Is KeysteemCreated with Sketch.

We are just at round 1 of this revolution.

Everyone is excited about blockchain. Now, it is time to start counting down until its demise. Blockchain is headed towards extinction.

Sounds a bit odd coming from me but this is the reality. Blockchain is doomed to be replaced.

With what, I have no idea. The truth is nobody does.

When will that happen? Again, there is no way to tell.

Blockchain is just a generation, it is not the ultimate outcome. The true endgame is decentralized consensus technology. This is what we are after.

This is the key component that everyone needs to keep in mind. Crypto-economics is here to stay but we must ensure it meets the criteria needed to serve humanity. Unfortunately, the same entities that control the present system are going to seek to control this one. They will ultimately fail but, without great effort on our part, they will put it off for a long while.

We already are seeing some governments talking about a centralized cryptocurrency i.e. one distributed by the government. Obviously, this serves nobody but the state and their surveillance capabilities. Sadly, the masses will fall for it since few take the time to learn what is taking place.

Ironically, the Age of Abundance will spring out of the poorer areas. To be frank, people in the west are too fat, dumb, and happy. Few realize how important privacy and security are until they are taken from them. When people with guns rush your house, take you and your family at gunpoint, and then seize your house with everything in it, then you realize what it all means.

There are millions of people in the world who suffered this fate. They are the ones who are ready to listen to an alternative.

The true genius of Satoshi Nagamodo was that he started the crypto-economic movement by creating the first system. Essentially he took a peer-to-peer network that was secured with cryptography and monetized it via cryptocurrency.

For the first time in a couple thousand years, he created a system whereby the creation and distribution of money was in the hands of the many.

One of the major issues we had thus far is the distribution of the money. Cryptocurrency, to a large degree, is following the same pathway of fiat. We are basically seeing a digitized reproduction of the present system. One where greed rules and people attack each other in an effort to get ahead.

The foundation of decentralization of money is getting it distributed to as many people as possible in as quick a period as we can. This is a race against the establishment. Fortunately, we might have caught a break with the collapse in cryptocurrency pricing. When things are "mooning" those in power see the threat and pull out the large guns. Most of 2018 saw witness to that. However, when the threat is beaten back, at least from their perspective, that is when the geeks go to work. This is what we are seeing now with all the development. Pricing action is telling you this industry is dying while development states the exact opposite.

We need to stop the senseless bickering among ourselves. This only serves to weaken the crypto network. Each of us has a responsibility to put forth as much effort into this as we can. Pleading ignorance is not an option. Unknowingly supporting evil is still supporting evil. To be blunt, one is either with us or against us.

Humanity can have a wonderful future ahead of it (if we don't blow ourselves up first). The writing is already on the wall. If you read my last post, you saw how Jared Rice is working on a way of completely decentralizing and distributing the internet. This will allow anything built upon it to have the same attributes. This is huge.

Mesh networks are a prime defense against attack or control from the typical players.

Of course, being on STEEM, one of the most attractive aspects is that he is uniting STEEM, Bitshares, and EOS (along with Quint) as tokens on the network in addition to the native one that will be created. This is the "bringing together" that we need.

Competition is the basis for the scarcity age we live in. The Age of Abundance will be built upon collaboration.

This is the essence of the change we are talking about. The present system divides, we must unite. There are going to be 7B+ people on the internet in 10 years and the likes of Google and Facebook are just itching to get a hold of those people. We need to prevent that.

Each of us has a responsibility to do what we can to break from of the control system and help others to do so also. The best way is for projects to touch as many people as possible. This industry is still looking for that "killer" app like email. It will come, it is just going to take a lot of ideas and then others building upon said ideas.

Therefore, keep the eye on the ball. The goal is decentralized consensus model that we can apply to all of our lives. Whatever the technologies that are built upon matters little. Cryptocurrency is here to stay. The economic models that were espoused for so many years are about to be torn down. Crypto-economics is going to make a fair portion of those tenets obsolete.

I urge everyone to keep spreading this message. It is easy to get lost in all the other noise that is out there. Removing access points is defense when the attacks do invariably come.

It is time to start working towards freedom.

Corruption is the completely normal default state of humanity that requires no explanation whatsoever. The vast majority of countries are crippled by corruption to varying degrees. Trustless and decentralized consensus technology is the only thing that I can think of that can function as a basis for efficient and honest society-wide collaboration in most countries of the world. The key is things like smart contracts and decentralized consensus where honesty is enforced at the protocol level. Old-style centralized institutions run by individual humans are somewhat capable of fulfilling their role only in a small minority of countries. In most countries, they are a cruel joke.

Hell yah!

This is one wave that will be followed by another then another. Maybe it is like a tsunami for the old school FIAT system or maybe they have their FUD breakwaters set properly. Who knows?

Either way, it doesn't have to become complete anarchy in order for a change to happen. I will just be watching the effect of this wave, the shape of the next, and alter my course to make the most of it for my family and those I wish to help with my RICHES!

Freedom.

Hey, @taskmaster4450.

I've read this and your other post referring to Jared Rice and I'm very much interested in the idea of a decentralized web and mesh networks. I'm wondering if there's any particular mesh network in production now, or how that is going to come about. Its seems it is the last puzzle piece to internet access that needs to be sufficiently cracked in order for things to be truly decentralized.
