Mutton Karhai
If you are going to cook Mutton then two recipes are most famous for this meat ,one is Mutton karhai and other is Mutton polao
Today I'm here to share my favourite recipe Mutton karhai which is very easy to make and delicious in taste. I make this recipe once a week ,its my special menu if guests arriving at my home.

Mutton | 1kg |
Tomatoes | 5-6 medium sized |
Cumin seed | 1tsp |
Chilli powder | 11/2 tbso |
Corianderpowder | 1tbsp |
Salt | as per taste |
Garlic ginger paste | 2tbsp |
Black paper | 1/2tsp |
Green chilli | 4-5 |
Coriander leaves | for garnish |
Oil | 4-5tbsp |
Fried onion | 2tbsp |
- First ,tender meat by boiling it for 30-40 minutes . You may skip this step too but after adding all ingredients you have to cook until meat tender.
- Add some oil to the pan then add tender meat and fry it for a minute then add garlic ginger paste in it and sotey it nicely
- Add all spices to the pan and sotey it for some time until aroma starting from it.
- Make Tomatoes paste or you can add cut tomatoes and cook it until all mixed together. Tomatoes should not seen in curry.
- Add black paper and green chilli to the pan and cover it for few minutes, when oil comes up to the curry its ready to serve.
- Garnish it with Coriander leaves and serve it with bread.
Servingsize= 5-6 person
Meat is a good source of protein and we should add it in our diet. Must try this yummy meat recipe you will surely like it.
