Showcasing the #Steem Blockchain
Over the last few days, I have been approached by an Events Organiser asking whether the #Steem Community would like to showcase the #Steem Blockchain at three Cryptocurrency Events this year.
These events will be in the U.K and are in three major cities over a period of approximately 6 months.
The Question
The question I would therefore like to ask the #Steem Community is ....
....."...is now the time to start looking at showcasing the #Steem Blockchain at Crypto Shows and Events on a regular basis?"
Gauging the Appetite
The purpose of this Blog is simply aimed at gauging the appetite from the #Steem Community as to whether you think we should start actively promoting #Steem at future events.
If the appetite is there and this is something that the Community would like to pursue further, I will be more than happy to provide details of the potential events and locations.

I am continually impressed by how many projects are and are being built on the STEEM blockchain. I think it is not well noticed in the blockchain community just how many projects there are on the STEEM blockchain.
Do I think it is time to start showcasing the STEEM blockchain? Emphatically, YES!!!
The STEEM blockchain is so much more than just SteemIt now.

Hi Mike.
I had an awesome three days at @CoinFestUK and was approached by quite a few people asking whether I would be interested in showcasing the #Steem Blockchain at their event.
Promoting #Steem alongside #DigiByte at @CoinFestUK and handing out free #Steem t-shirts, free #Steem caps and free #Steem pens opened up quite a few new leads.
I think now is the time for #Steem to do regular events at these types of Crypto Shows.

This morning I ran across a new STEEM app being developed that could be used to facilitate trading between DigiByte and STEEM cryptocurrencies. The new app is SwapSteem.

I remember at one time we were hoping BlockTrades with allow DigiByte to STEEM conversions, but SwapSteem may be another way.

Good stride and thoughts, though, we can also showcase #steem in businesses. Personally, I've started receiving STEEM as payment for services in my Creativity Hub.

I think we are very close to it. A lot of the major stumbling points have been fixed and we have the apps to attract people so there is a lot going for it. Still issues to fix but getting to a lot better place.

I have one year and two months in Steem. From @dobartim I learned the love for Steemit, to see it as a business, but an honest, human, even romantic business. From @timcliff I have also learned to love Steem and Steemit and to add value to them. For what I consider, humbly, that Steem must be presented in any possible place. People must know us more and invest, know their benefits and thus we will improve. It is a benefit for everyone. So yes, friend @stephenkendal. I think that it is necessary to present the chain of blocks of steem in events.

I think so #Steem is well established and a great community. People are considering moving away from Facebook more and more and this could be the perfect lure to make that final decision.
