My ArtVenture: Watercolor painting „Departure” Exclusive on Steem
Hello my dear Steemians and Art Fans,
Yesterday we were watching the inauguration of Mr. Joe Biden for the President and Mrs Kamala Harris as Vice-President. I believe many of people in the whole world have done it. I was very glad that everything was so beautifully organized and went really good. I believe for many around the world it was a sigh of relief. We hope that there will be much positive from now on.
While watching this everything I decided to play with my watercolor paints. I actually heard from many that wet-in-wet technique is very satisfying for many that is why thought to try it.
When using this technique, it is important to prepare the colours and once the whole paper is wet then apply the colors quickly so that they can merge equally.
I decided to use three primary colours and quickly applied in the middle, sides and top and bottom. That was my first step.
Of course, I needed to wait then, till paper was dry enough so that I can then to do little details. So here it is my painting, hope @steemcurator01 supports the Visual Art on Steem.

Thank you Elena, I believe when we look at the horizon and endless sea we all start automatically to dream. That is why I really love sea motifs. I have never tried on big format. But lately I was thinking to try something on so called proper canvas and good size. Probably in summer, because of space :)

Ich auch :) Aber dann dachte ich das etwas neues unpolitisches dort hin muss. Eigentlich habe ich gerade ein Porträt von der Vizepräsidentin angefangen aber es ist noch nicht fertig. Deshalb habe ich zur Überbrückung ein Segelboot am Horizont gemalt.
