Hello my dear Steemians,

While being of the Steemit Curators Team and upvoting the users across the Steemit I often see the Community "Ukraine on Steem" is often been left out of the Curator radar. I think the main reason is because the Curators trying to follow the rules and give privilege to those who are doing Power Up which is good but it is not helpful for that community.

"Ukraine on Steem" the rules of #clubs

The whole world know that the people in Ukraine are still living in war time, they lost their homes, there is limited amount of food, water and people survive and not really live.

We all know that there is no job and if people had some savings by now that might have been already spent. Luckily those who know about Steemit can hope that with that they can at least have a little of financial support for their families.

I would like to ask @steemcurator01 to give a permission for the Steemit Curator Teams to upvote those users without strictly check their club status. Only we need to make sure that the users are from Ukraine. I would also then ask the Curators work closely with @olesia, @antorv and @andrea.boji in order to identify if the users really from Ukraine.

If the Curator Teams will be allowed to support those users, then that will helpful for steemcurator01 and 02, the users are then better reached.

Responsible and Fair Curators

It was a couple of weeks ago when one of our new Curators while chatting said that he received a DM from one of the user who was very insisting asking to nominated a user's post for the best post of the week. He said that he rejected that but he thought that there might be more of such attempts in the future.

Myself, I did not have any direct messages and nobody asked me to give them Upvote and also to nominate the posts, that is why I was really surprised discovering that. Thereafter, I asked some of other curators and was really disappointed to know that such situations are not single cases. Few curators who I asked have confirmed that they also received such DMs.

In my opinion, if Curator decided to be curator then he/she should take the task very responsible and not to cheat, like some curators vote the others in return and nominate them too so that they get SC01 Upvote.

We should not forget that the other users are not stupid and they all see what is happening and also they see that the Steemit Team also should notice that and if those actions are not stopped then what difference it makes, it is a corruption like we sometimes see in real life.

I suggested in our Curator Team1 that we should nominate one user just once a month, but in response I heard that despite of couple of curators were happy to do so the others were not and said that if the Steemit Team makes it as a rule only then they will do it that way.

Because of that I am calling all the Curators, let do following:

  • Visit users from different countries
  • Support the posts outside of "Diary Game" and "Challenges"
  • Do not necessarily give Upvote with SCXX account if the user already had been upvoted by other SCXX account and try to visit other users
  • Nominate different users and try to nominate outside of your own country or community

I know it is hard not to be tempted when someone is giving you upvote not to come back with such gesture but just try to be fair and responsible.

Wishing you great Curation and for users, wishing you to be a lucky one!

I have no words to express how grateful I am for your attention to the Ukrainian community. Yes, the situation in the country is difficult and we could never imagine, even in our wildest dreams, that this would happen. Even far from the front, the war touched every family. But we never felt alone in our troubles, thanks in part to people like you. Sooner or later, this war will end, our people will get back on their feet and give a hundredfold thanks to all those who extended a helping hand to us in a difficult time.

We in Europe also think that once the war is over than many countries will come and help to restore the country and it will be better than before and also hopefully part of EU. Hope this time will come soon.

Hi @stef1 Paul Archer is having a hard time finding your message on Instagram (he has lots of media traffic). Please email him at [email protected] or [email protected] to confirm his account. Can you confirm with me when done? @archerart

Hi @greenman, thank you for facilitating between Archer and WOX, I did received a little message from Archer and that is enough. Our Moderator know that and I added him into our whitelist. Sorry that it took too long, I am working long hours this week 12,5 and today is the last long day, so not really time for Internet.

Thanks Sir....

Thank you @stef1 for your endless support! We appreciate your efforts a lot! 🤜🤛

Lot of Ukrainians are still in #club5050/100. Everyone is trying very hard. The financial support of Steamit is really important for Ukrainians. And we are grateful for that 💙

The list of active Ukrainians is registered in one of my posts Top5. These people are really from Ukraine.

I have noticed that many of Ukrainian now fulfilling the rules of #clubs and that makes it easy for Curators to give them Upvote, but I think there are still some who may not know that and stay away.

It is great that the Steemit Team continue to support many in need but it wouls be good if many others will do the same.

Thank you very much for your attention and support.

Yes, that sounds like corruption!
In any case, I hope that the curators are aware of their responsibility and can resist these requests.

I would support your suggestion that users be nominated once at most. Why does this have to be made a rule by SC01 first? I think this is a matter for the curator team to decide. Why do we have these guideline posts from each team if everything is done the same way?

Actually, it would be better to publish this DM so that users are exempt from further nominations or SC votes in the future.

When I heard what is happening I thought that the way that curators were asked to leave their discord or telegram IDs I believe many users then use that contacts for their benefit.

You know, that was also my thought it would be good to make it publicly the users who trying to cheat, if that would be the message addressed to me, I would have done it, unfortunately, it was another person.

I also think that it should be a group that agree on the rules, but had some resistance from a couple of them. We will see how it will go.

Thank you, @stef1 all for your support. It is very important to us, and we are pleased. @andrea.boji our moderator writes in the post who exactly is from Ukraine.

Thank you Olesia, that is good to know I will keep an eye on the user list.

That is great, thank you Olesia, I definitely share it in our discord

Thank you for your comments @stef1.

Regarding your first point...

Teams should also give preference to posts that are steem-exclusive, bot free and by authors in club5050, club75 or club100.

We are happy to see some flexibility on these guidelines (apart from plagiarism) for posts of the highest quality.

Flexibility is fine as long as all members of the Curation Team agree.

Some of your other points are reflected in the latest Community Curators for April post.

Community Curators should not limit their curation to Engagement Challenge and Diary Game posts.

Thank you for reflecting on the post and for your feedback, yes, it is important to encourage users to follow main concept of privilege for users who are Powering up, they should be rewarded for investing in Steem. It is also good to know that you allow to give support for quality posts.

Yes, I noticed the reaction in the last issue of the @steemitblog and appreciate for expressing the stand of the Steemit Team.

Thank you very much for your support! 🤗

Thank you too for reading the post and hope that we can encourage curators to visit your community, hope that the Steemit Team will give an exemption.

Огромное спасибо Вам, @stef1, за поддержку и душевное тепло!
