Getting More Involved - Celebrating My 7th Week on Steemit!
Thank you to everyone who helped make my 7th week here on Steemit a great experience once again. I have continued to connect with new and long-time members of the Steemit community and make contributions back to others whenever I can.
This week I have taken some time to get back into audio editing, something I haven't done in about 15 years, and created a few intro/outro audios for @officialfuzzy's weekly Whaletank and BeyondBit hangouts. I was able to use some music tracks I created in the past and recorded a voice-over to go with them. It's been an interesting challenge that I will improve upon over time. This is one of the great parts about Steemit and the Whaleshares sponsored contests, they push us to try new things or revisit old skills we have put aside for too long.
My contest entry rendering of the "Nanomancer", a Sci-Fi character for a storyline by @benjojo, tied for 2nd place this week. This is a very interesting concept where community members will have a chance to add to the story and character development over time. If you are interested in joining in, check out benjojo's blog.
I also continue to post updates on my Home Gardening with Hydroponics blog to share my hydroponics systems and teach how I grow food at home with everyone here on Steemit. If you are interested in that, jump over and follow my other account @steempowergarden and get caught up on my past posts.
Coming up next week, I will be entering @nspart's next Whaleshares NSFW photography contest, continuing with the hangout audio intro/outros, working on a design for the Steemit's got Talent logo contest now sponsored by @jphenderson, and posting new images from my latest underwater photoshoot.
There are also many projects going on with game development, Whaleshares website design, and other bitshares projects, that even though I am not a primary developer of, I will continue to work with them on feedback and beta testing to help improve the platforms going forward.
As I do every week, my @kalemandra #RainbowMontage @ColorChallenge post will explore the colors from some of my favorite posts I submitted during the week. It was a busy week, so I am missing orange and purple related images. All the images and photos were created or taken by me, except the officialfuzzy whale rendering is by @anritco. Wow! Great job @steempowerpics! How I wish I can be as active as you... i have been out of circulation of for a week, thanks to my no-good isp which blocks steemit. I feel like I have lost out on a lot of things. 😟

Oh it really does! I feel like an addict who's suffering withdrawal symptoms. Always on beast mode when following up with customer care. Lol.
