Week FIVE of Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 19 is over!

We are excited to share feedback on Week 5's contest, which centered around the theme “A change is as good as a holiday.”

This week, we invite Steemians to open their diaries and share them with us. There was, however, a catch. They had to share ONE thing that they had done differently on that day.

Reading the entries was a reminder of how even the smallest change can make a big impact on our lives.

Steemit Engagement Challenge: Selection process

As per the introduction by the Steemt Team, it is up to the community team to decide how they will select their weekly winners.

Of importance for the team was staying focused on our goals of being fair, transparent, and supportive of ENGAGEMENT.

How did we manage this? We looked at the following:

1. Authors must vote and resteem the contest post
2. Authors must adhere to ALL the rules
3. Authors must post good-quality posts
4. Authors must have shown active engagement with the posts of their fellow Steemians. Quantity and quality are key and NOT most engaged
5. All the members of the team had the right to nominate and vote for posts.

Dear friends, as we enter the last week of this season, let’s not forget that this is an engagement challenge. Let’s support our fellow Steemians with good-quality comments. You cannot expect to win if you don’t engage with others.

Of utmost importance is also following all the rules of a contest. Some of the top authors this week did not adhere to the rules.
