Introduction
The very second edition of our Talking point is ready. We invite all our members to come and join as we look at matters that affects each and everyone. We share views and opinions. We share experiences and learn from others too. Tonight, our talking point is entitled, Disappointments. Yes we all have faced or two in life. So its a nice time to talk about them.
Talking Point - How we do it
Disappointments seem to have become part of life. Every now and then, promises are broken and expectations are not met, leading to sadness and regrets. So tonight, we will like to look at disapointments as a topic for discussion. First, lets see how to join the talking point. The next paragraph will explain that.
This is an open discussion in which we welcome people's view on the matter. So to participate, the host will raise the issue by making the first comment on this post. Then participants are free to start replying with their opinion about the issue discussed. So here is what you need to do:

Disappointment is part of our day to day activities. It have done lots of damages to businesses and relationships.
On Steemit, my greatest disappointment was the fall of the prise of steem when I planned to sell

What makes me feel disappointed lately is that my mom's goods was ceased from the Cameroonia and till today, the reaping crayfish is yet to be seen.

I made a post last week on promosteem Community, I was supposed to receive booming support because I took 3rd position on that Contest. But it happens that the community worn O1 support this month. So O1 did not vote the post and there was no booming support too. It makes me feel disappointed
That is how it happens, so no need to rejoice when your post is picked but until the divine invisitation comes your domot before you begin to celebrate

I have been disappointed countless number of times. Now, I barely put much hope on anything and that makes me not to feel disappointed/or feel it much.
Because disappointment is always worst when you apportion much hope on something, so I try as much as possible to accept whatever comes my way any day any time as how it was designed to be.

It's better you take your mind off it in case you are disappointed
I hardly expect anything from anyone, infact I barely receive favor nor gifts from anyone, Even when you make promises to me. So if it eventually comes I will take it with excitement else life goes on. And that's why I barely forget people that have favored me in one way or the other because they are few in number and I understand that it's not easy to make promises and keep to it.
Waooh Sir. Can you tell me the biggest disapointment you had. Was it in a relationship or financial investment?
Well, disappointment are in different categories, financially I have had my own fair share when I lost #500k to an investment, a Bitcoin investment that was in 2018, I almost ran mad, I couldn't get myself for weeks but after everything, I still moved on, it thought me alot of lessons but that's story for another day, so financially I think that's my greatest disappointment.
500k its not a joke ooo. Waooh. You must have passed through a tough time then. And it surely made you stronger in life, isn't it?

Life goes on, since then I decided to know more about blockchain, infact I developed a huge love for blockchain technology, my dream is to become a blockchain developer sometime in the future, I am already working towards it.
The biggest disappointment so far is when my post is selected for top 5 post of the day and that is the period 01 will go on vacation.

Good evening house.
My most recent disappointment happened just few minutes ago.
My brother's wife is in school and I am standing in for her in taking care of her home.
Just this evening, my brother returned and couldn't find hot water to bath and he was told I used the last one.
Then he started ranting and I used the water because it was getting cold and it will be a waste considering the time he used to return and the kids said he had already bathed.
I feel so disappointed and pissed off because I felt he is not appreciative enough especially for the fact that I cook different meal every day and I get so tired because he is on a diet.
I am so sad right now.

This is so touching. Am really sorry about it. When you feel under valued, its really a bad feeling. Both of you are definitely not happy over the situation. So can I ask what later happened? Did you boil another hot water for him? I also wondered whether you could have put some in a flask for him. @patience90

The disappointment I have been through was when I was waiting on my jamb fee but at the end, things turn upside down.
What really happened? Why was the fee not made available? So what did you do after you were disappointed?
The fee wasn't available so I had no choice but to stay back and apart from that they are a lot of disappointment have faced.
When did this happen?
It happened early this year
At least things won't turn upside down now with steem
My greatest disapointment was when i didn't pass my interview to go to The US at the American embassy in Abuja. It really broke me.

This topic is nice. I have had some disappointments. The most painful one was under Npower. There was a competition set for volunteers across Nigeria. We continued to compete as a team until the quater final where the last 4 teams will compete for the prizes in Abuja. We were waiting for the invitation only to hear that the Government has created a new ministry and that the President's wife will be in Charge of Npower since it fell under the new ministry. The first thing she did was to cancel all programs, including that contest. That was how me and my guy lost the opportunity to compete for 1.2m then 2018. Actually, we were favorites to win it. How disappointed I was

No. We discontinued. But one good thing about Npower is that it gave me the opportunity to meet some great people. I and @samuel20 shared the same PPA in Npower. That was where we got to know each other. And today, he is a big part of my staff

@benson6. Exactly. So that was a big positive side of the Npower story. They also did not give us a tablet PC which the first set received. I wish @samuel20 was here. His last 6 months salary in that program was not paid till date. He felt so disappointed then

No be joke oo. And my condition was bad that time. I seriously needed the money because it was few months to the time the landlord gave us quit notice in my last office building. To know how bad it was, I stayed without office for 1 year and 6 months before Steemit rescued me. Hahaha
Steemit is a life saver and steem rescue me also this year and meeting you was wonderful
That's bad after putting all your efforts and planning what you would have used the money for.
