Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 2 | Steem4Nigeria Week 1 Contest Summary
Introduction
Dear Nigerians and friends, we extend our greetings to you today and we hope you are doing great. The first week of season 2 of the Steemit engagement challenge has ended and we would be giving a detailed report of how things went in the contest held in our community. Follow us closely on this.
Contest Result
The contest held in our community last week was centered on seeing how users have seen themselves fit to become the president of their countries, as such we seek to hear their manifestos and see what plans they have towards the development of their countries.
At the end of the 7 days contest period, we received a total of 115 entries. These are great articles as users have shown different ways they think they can bring about progress in their countries. We monitored the behavior of users throughout the period and we have come about selecting the top 3 users based on quality of their articles and quality and quantity of their interactions with other participants in the contest.
The top users we have selected for the week would be given in the table below.
Rank | Author | Other Users' Visit | Articles Visited |
---|---|---|---|
1 | @olabillions | 7 | 64 |
2 | @yolvijrm | 18 | 42 |
3 | @kawsar | 9 | 33 |
We have analyzed the quality of their articles, the number of users that have visited them with valid comments, and the number of articles they have visited with valid comments. These users above have performed well in interacting with other users in the contest. Let's see the links to their articles below.

Thanks for the recognition. It is a great pleasure for me to have participated in this great activity and interact with other users seeing their great participation.
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉 to all winners 🏆🏆🏆, it is well deserved. Steem4Nigeria community has just given an objective result that represents the true state of what took place last week. No admins or MODs, only users, that is how it ought to be.
Thanks am, I appreciate your congratulatory comments
Best of luck
Yes @ngoenyi, it was an objective decision to exclude the admins and MODs so as not to bring in biase into the process.
Congratulations to the top 3
Yes you are right mom.. I don't think admins or MODs should be Contesting with Steemians in their own community.. That can only be done in another community when they are not the ones that have set the contest because I don't see admins and MODS to give a contest and still compete as contestants in the contest, at thesame time still nominate themselves as winners whereas their duty is already certain that they most comment on all entry post in their respective communities
Once more congratulations 👏🎉 to the winners of this amazing contest that just past

You have done a detailed report here! Keep it up!!
However, I have an ongoing python programming class on this steemit platform, which I introduced to the platform yesterday. And it is free of charge to participate and acquire this trending skills.
The aim of this python programming class on steemit is to teach steemians who are willing to upgrade their technological skills up to a standard.
You can find the python programming classes on my blog @anyiglobal... You as well can attend this course if interested. I promise, you will learn alot!
I also need the support of the steemit team at large to acknowledge my initiative and make this course a success on steemit platform. I want it to reach broader people on steemit so that everyone can learn from this free course. So everyone can please help and resteem every drop of the class on their blog.
Thanks very much I appreciate,
Regards,
@anyiglobal
