In order to be a 3CJ (a Citizen Journalist on 3Speak) one must be willing to film local political events in an unbiased way. A 3CJ (3speak Citizen Journalist) should do everything they can to capture a story from both sides, and ask questions from each party involved, without putting a bias on the event. A 3CJ's role carries huge social responsibility which can be a difficult and selfless task, especially if the journalist is reporting events that inflame political tensions.

Rejoice Small Fish, It's Your Time.
Unless you've been living under a Steem rock of some kind, you would have noticed the epic downvoting happening on Steem. A lot of it is vengeful and personal, but I think it is a net positive. If you're a small fish in this pond, you should be happy, and here's why. Yes some smaller accounts are getting downvoted, that's inevitable, but the vast majority of the downvoting is happening to larger accounts with higher SP. It means if you play your cards right, and don't do anything dumb like plagiarise or spam the platform, then you can be totally exempt from the downvoting. This also means there's a lot of Steem being returned to the reward pool for smaller accounts to benefit from.

How to make a post without sounding condescending and have new Steemians read it? I have no idea. Yet some falsehoods need to be cleared up about how wonderful and easy it was "back in the day" to get people to see and vote on your posts. Now that everyone left that doesn't care to learn, let's go over some facts based on my two years on Steem. Two years ago I made a Steem(it) account for free. I had to wait five days to get my new account. I was lucky enough to get on Steem when new accounts still received a 35 Steem Power delegation from SteemInc.
