World Cup 2018: Croatia vs England Preview
With France and Belgium putting on a great spectacle, befitting a World Cup Semi-final, we do hope Croatia vs England lives up to the hype.
England saw off Sweden in the last round comfortably, and Croatia and Russia could not be separated for 120mins.
It was a fight to the end, with Croatia ultimately triumphing via penalties, to the glee of the English.
The Croatians might have been worn out, and will have heavier legs, their hearts however should never be in doubt.
England have no injury concerns, and will be able to draw from a full strength squad.
Croatia on the other hand are sweating on the fitness of right-back Sime Vrsaljko and goalkeeper Danijel Subasic, both of whom picked up knocks during the quarter-final win over Russia.
The squads are yet to be released, and this will be updated in time.
Prediction:
It will be a major blow for Croatia, if both players are declared unfit. That aside, and probably the tired legs, this Croatian side will be too much for the English. Expect an open encounter.
