Most Unique Bottled Water in the World Come From Some Unusual Places.

Oh sweet precious H2O where do you come from and for how much do you sell? Would you pay $60k per 750ml?

We all know water is the life of our planet. We were all born free to use it just as all creatures on earth are. Unfortunately we are not entitled to it for free even when it’s available in abundance. Aside from paying taxes for the pleasure of drinking clean water in our homes those who have the cash to blow will easily spend it on the best of the best. Why not? That’s their entitlement.
(I am not oppose clean water taxes, it also goes towards cleaning water before it goes back in to nature)

Huge corporations have done a good job cornering our food chain and now they can easily sell us any garbage they want and call edible. Even when the masses of America call for transparency in their food source Obama went and signed “the dark act” into law. Which baffles the idea of freedom and common sense.

Let’s talk about the world leader in evil water abusers. Nestle. They have gone to every country in the world and virtually bought the local governments in the more corrupt countries and in Western nations like Canada they use shady trade deals and loopholes to cut out local citizen’s voices.
HOW IS THAT ETHICAL?

In India, USA, China and more countries Nestle bought up water resources, drained them dry and sold the water back at an incredibly inflated price. Companies like Coca Cola and some certain States in America believe water is not a fundamental human right.

http://www.globalresearch.ca/the-privatization-of-water-in-india-how-cocacola-destroys-the-aquifer/5472625

In Ontario Canada recently Nestle scored a town’s future water source and they didn’t even out bid. It was considered a private sale out of the government’s control. A growing town bid on a local water source and lost having the highest bid. How does that happen? What did the seller secretly benefit to accept a smaller sum of money and hurt a growing community’s future at growth? We will never know.

In the States we have the Dakota Pipe Line where tens of thousands of Natives are fighting with their lives to protect every American’s water source now and into the future. The action is too far from home so who cares right, it doesn’t affect you? Not today but they will come for your water someday, I promise. Someone will.

It’s been blacked out of the news and the “non native” American’s that are aware don’t seem to care enough to stand up. It baffles me how the Natives are again being brutalized in their home land for trying to protect the entire country and its environment.

Does that make sense to you? Maybe if CNN or Fox encouraged people to do the right thing but they are completely side tracked with the election and not a single Presidential runner is talking about it. Media blackout as they are arrested and pepper sprayed. Is it not a big deal to people in the USA; is history in some ways repeating?

Anyways, the point is my friend’s water is only going to get more expensive for everyone. So let’s take a look at what rich people drink and why they don’t give crap about the rest of us.

How the water is obtained and purified is half the fun of the story. One thing I learned selling Persian rugs (many x many moons ago) to wealthy people was they loved the unique story behind each rug. They bought the story half the time and the rug was the centerpiece to be retold throughout the ages.

MOST UNIQUE BOTTLED WATER AROUND THE WORLD

Prices are the highest I saw referenced for sale online Prices may vary by region.

#4 Tasmanian Rain from Australia Price $7.00 750ml

I like this company for 2 reasons.
First, they are environmentally ethical by planting trees in conjunction with another environmental group to offset their carbon footprint.
Second and it can only be said by them
“This uniquely pure rain water is captured on the pristine island of Tasmania, Australia where the air is scientifically proven to be the purest in the world. The air currents travel over Antarctica and 10,000 miles of open ocean eventually reaching the western part of Tasmania…the rain is collected before it touches the ground.”

#3 The Kona Nigari water from Hawaii though sold mostly in Japan $402.00 750ml

This water is special because it originates from thousands of feet below the sea and is desalinated in facilities on land. It claims to help you lose weight among other amazing healing benefits including relieving stress.
Here’s what they say “Kona Deep offers a very different hydration experience because of its unique blend of naturally occurring deep ocean electrolytes.”

#2 AquaDeco from Northern Canada $14.00 per 750ml (sold out)

What makes this water special and unique is it comes from melting glaciers in the arctic. The water is 18,000 years old. Well, I thought water was billions of years old. True but for this water it's the first time being touched by the modern environment making it clean naturally rather than re-filtered through our amazingly hard working ecosystem.

In their words
“The retreating ice flow left distinctly different layers of sand and gravel that form an incredible filtration matrix for water to flow through. Each soil type has its own filtration characteristics, and in combination, are able to remove ions, pollutants and undesirable compounds at an atomic level.”

#1 Acqua di Cristallo Tributo a Modigliani - $60,000 per 750ml

Coming in at the most expensive water but the big price is all in the bottle. An artistic masterpiece filled with no ordinary water.
“What makes this bottle of water so expensive? The price tag mainly comes from the bottle itself. The glass bottle is handmade and covered in 24-karat gold and the artwork is based of late Italian artist Amedeo Clemente Modigliani. This bottled water is a tribute of his work. The water itself is a mix of natural spring water from Fiji and France and also contains actual glacier water from Iceland. Each bottle also has 5mg of sprinkled 23-karat gold dust.”

Well next time you’re running the faucet, filling the bath tub or running a sprinkler for your lawn or garden remember it’s costing you only pennies.

Can you imagine how much respect humans would have for water if it cost us all even a few bucks for every liter we used for anything. Without a doubt we would learn how to sustain our life source and set aside greed and foolishness.

Nice post. Have you seen the documentaries "Blue Gold - World Water Wars" or "Flow - For The Love of Water" ?

no i haven't i will have to check those out. right now. thanks

Fantastic post @solarguy!
This is such a huge issue with "corporations" owning resources and services.
I bought land and a house in the area that I did, specifically and on purpose because of the abundant water source. I still have a drilled well and I don't have to contend with municipally treated water or the escalating monthly water and sewer charges and taxes.
The "not so great" in my mind is the CETA trade deal that was scheduled to be signed today.
It's being spun as a great thing for economic growth in Canada. What I think it's really doing is giving corporations the right to sue individuals for lost revenue if they stop buying goods...like water and hydro.
Here's the Globe and Mail's spin:
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/international-business/european-business/explainer-ceta-wallonia-europe-and-canada/article32489554/
Another giant leap towards a one world government that is ultimately owned by corporations at every level. :(
We want to take our house "off the grid". Currently, we are piecing this together. We have our average hydro consumption down to 8kwh a month and so far, we have purchased a quarter of the solar panels we need. We've had the house wired to flip from hydro to a portable generator with one switch. This will also let us toggle back and forth once we bring solar and wind into the equation...the hold up is the expense for the technology at this point.

Yea it's really scary. Those international trade deals are gonna ruin it for nearly everybody. Canada has a lot more freedom when to comes to water than the USA.

In many States its illegal to collect rain water that lands on oyur home. You could be fined or sent to jail. crazy idea of land of the free eh. I can really see why many don't Hillary to win she support that type of stuff so did Obama even if they did't bring it about. I'm no t impressed with JT either.

With solar power is a good choice. I want off the grid as much as possible too. Solar water heaters are really popular though. Covering many roofs. They actually work and make water hot even in -20C it's too hot touch just like the regular heater. I had one here in another home i lived in. Its a good start if you don;t to blow the budget.
