How do you evaluate a person? [사람을 어떻게 평가하시나요?]

He was born in a poor house and could not attend school for a year.
9-year-old mother died.
He lost a 26-year-old loving woman to leukemia.
Admitted to a 27-year-old mental hospital
31-year-old government election commissioner lose
34-year-old member of parliament election lose
39-year-old Democratic Rep lose
45-year-old Senator loses election lose
47-year-old vice presidential election lose
49-year-old Senator loses election lose
This person is a person who has been evaluated by the press as 'a person who makes a failure.'
So this guy was a loser in life?

Never. This is Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States from 1861 to 1865.

When I first saw this biography of Lincoln, I thought it was just great.
But if I go back to Lincoln's biography briefly and evaluate him only for a short period of time, I thought he would be able to evaluate him as a "loser."

If someone edits and shows only the parts of my life that are misjudged and difficult, everyone think to me as a complete failure.

Also, if I was collected and showed the scenes that I have wicked in my life, everyone evaluate to me as a killer of the world.
However, most of you who know me do not think loser or killer. Because I am not such a person.

I think that the problem that arises due to the specific behavior can cause more misunderstanding. This is because we have judged this behavior only at a certain point in time.
Just as you can make a mistake when evaluating a person as a part when evaluating a person.
When evaluating a person's behavior, evaluating a single face may not lead to a proper assessment.
What we are judging at this point in time may be someone who is crossing the bridge to change success to failure, like Abraham Lincoln.

이 사람은 언론에서 ‘실패를 밥 먹듯이 하는 사람’으로 평가받은 사람입니다.
그럼 이 사람은 인생의 실패자 였을까요?
결코 아니죠. 이 사람은 바로 1861~1865년 미국의 제 16대 대통령이었던 에이브러햄 링컨 입니다.

이러한 링컨의 일대기를 처음 보았을 때 단지 대단하다라고만 생각하였습니다.
그러나 잠깐 다시 링컨의 일대기로 들어가서 그를 잠깐의 기간으로만 평가한다면 분명 그는 ‘실패자’라고 평가할 수 있을거란 생각이 들었습니다.
누군가 만약 저의 인생에 있어 잘못 판단하여 힘들어하는 부분만을 편집하여 보여준다면 저는 완벽한 실패자로 모든 사람들이 생각하게 될 것 입니다.
또한 저의 인생에서 사악한 생각을 했던 장면만을 모아서 보여준다면 저는 모든 사람들이 세상의 죽일놈으로 평가하게 될 것 입니다.
그러나 대부분의 저를 아는 분들은 저를 완벽한 실패자 또는 죽일놈으로 평가하지 않으실꺼라 생각합니다. 왜냐하면 저는 그런 놈이 아니기 때문입니다.

사람에 관한 평가도 이러할지언데 특정 행동으로 인하여 발생하는 문제는 더욱 많은 오해를 불러일으킬 수 있다고 생각합니다. 이 행동을 단지 특정 시점의 기준에서 판단하였기 때문입니다.
한 사람을 평가할 때 한 부분으로 평가할 때 오판할 수 있듯이
한 사람의 행동을 평가할 때 하나의 면 만으로 평가할 때 적절한 평가로 이어지지 않을 수 있습니다.
우리가 지금의 시점에서 판단하고 있는 어떤이는 에이브러햄 링컨과 같이 실패를 성공으로 바꾸는 징검다리를 건너고 있는 사람 일 수 있습니다.
