The wind blows.
Changes in the air.
Animals glance about.
What will the outcome be?
Leaves rustle, ferns turn.
All wait to see,
which way the water tumbles.
The truth put into words.
Hearts break a final time.
A cleansing, if you will.
All that once was,
now memories to store.
The body, the brain,
working out the chaos.
Broken dreams are set aside,
never to be thought of again.
Aching souls,
remembering,
feeling so alive.
A dream to wish by
finally safe inside.
In this lonely world, we survive.
Two souls becoming one,
will last a lifetime.
Rare and fragile, many tears,
shed this night of nights.
The night for mourning loss.
Fresh thoughts rise with the sun.
For now, memories take over.
Guard what reveals the greatness in you.
Never take for granted.
Live, learn, and grow.
Live for each experience.
Learn from each moment in time.
Grow into a better you.
Leave the sadness behind.
One touch.
Just one.

Unusually I spent the weekend indoors, It's been very hot here and I'm taking a few days to finish some things that were waiting in the workpile too long, but hopefully tomorrow I'll go somewhere green. I spend lots of time in Nature, it grounds me.
