In the Museum of Hoeamsa Temple
There stood the museum of Hoeamsa temple in Yangjoo city where was the north of Seoul metropolitan.
The excavated relics were displayed in the museum. But there were not so many relics than I expected. Many relics seemed to be destroyed under the unknown circumstances.
As entering into the museum, the bell was waiting for us. The bell was made by the bronze. This bell was used as the hanging at the end of the eaves of the main building. The size of the bell was approximately 30 cm high. In my opinion, the building must be huge to sustain the weigh of the bells at the end of the eaves.
Side part was punctured and it looked like to show its tragic history.
The fortunately survived relics under the ground were displayed in the museum. Most of displayed things were made by the clay.
The first displayed were the clay figures. I could not guess what those figures meant. It must be religious things.
@slowwalker,
Wow those relics looks so great and some of them are little different than normal relics in your country!

Buddhist statues that contain historical value, extraordinary museums sir @slowwalker
Definitely a cultural place. Reminds me we have a Buddha statue inherited from our cousin when he served in the Vietnam war. Thanks. @slowwalker
첫 사진이 종이었네요.ㅋ
전 철모같은 것인 줄 알았습니다.
전쟁으로 저렇게 훼손되었겠죠?
Thanks for introducing such a valuable relics.^^
The relics of Hoeamsa Temple luckily in relatively good condition, definitely the people, archeologists did great job and were very careful with the findings. It is nice that they could put together the puzzle of the bell, seeing from one side it looks intact but cracked, although from other side you can see the damaged wall. The clay figures are really interesting :)
