#playbypost : Vapor’s Gambit round 3
Last round Wren put down a boost and shot forward to an early lead. Happyme took off and is closing fast. As our other two players did not post, I did them as a late start. So both players moved forward at half speed.
I added white lines on the board to make it easier to see where the boards start at. Let me know if this works for you.

As Wren1221 was the only one to play a chit, she draws a new chit :

Lord Nigel took his turn last round right as I was posting. So he is actually right behind wren.
And so did pbock so here is the board starting this turn.
If I remember I van place the chit at any point of the turns, right ?
If so, I place Distracted by the crowd right in front of Wren
Yes you can play a chit at any point in the turn.
Your balance check chit is an effect. (One time use)
So this is how it works.
pbock plays a balance check on Wren, on Wren’s turn she must make a balance check.
If successful she can move as normal. If she fails she falls off here board and her turn is over.
This is a very effective way to slow someone down.
This is the board now. Wren will have to balance check whe she starts before she moves.

Haven't had much time while putting up the pool 😅
Mt father neglected to tell me the pool were assembling is supposed to be built up with a clear space around it... and we built it in a space just large enough for it, after we dug out the sides of the surrounding earth/cliff wall 😒

It was exhausting... I pity my sister who is working in our town... so at hand to help my father finish the work on the pool 😅
I've never seen a pool built out of wood like that before. What happens when the wood rots? And how do you prevent the liner from popping at any of the pockets where the wood forms the corners? It would be interesting to see how the project progresses.
My father will be taking more pictures as they advance.
As it is, there's external elements to drain away the water and avoid the wood rotting, and the liner should be fixed at several points.
I'll have to ask my father about the liner popping at the corners. No idea what stops that.
I imagine those little pockets would all need to be filled with something before the liner is installed. Or the wood is lined with a sheet-metal wall that supports the liner. My pool had a continuous 4-foot high roll of corrugated sheet metal all the way around that was bolted together at the free ends so that it formed a continuous wall with no breaks in it. The bolt-heads (rounded) were covered by a strip of rubber.
Sorry @simplegame I love games on Steemit and this seems great! but spread myself a bit thin (work, uni, IBT)

That is correct. You automatically get back on your board and get 1/2 movement.

I'll move around the board another 10 spaces and drop a balance check crack 3 spaces behind where I end up.
Ok. Since Wren is still in front of you, as you come up behind her you have to slide out to lane 2 to go around.
As you exit the corner in lane 2,do you want to move back to lane 1 or stay in lane 2.
This is what the board will look like
I will use tokens for the chits (as the cracks shows) during the turn so we can move them around. I will add them to the board graphic (see the boost at the start line) when I do the next days post.
I forgot about passing players. Sorry. Yea, just leave it like that so you don't have to alter the graphic again.
I'll slide back to the inside lane next turn.
