My activities for the day 31/08/2024

It's the last day of the week and also the last day of August 2024, I'm delighted to pen down how I spent this very day. You may want to read till the end of the post and see how I spent this day.

Every last Saturday of the month, the priest comes to my station for Mass, Baptism, and Confession. As a Catholic, I must attend this celebration at least every time I have the opportunity so today wasn't an exception. Though there was rain throughout the morning period, that didn't stop me from attending these functions.

I wasn't able to go with my phone and that is why I didn't take pictures during the celebration of the sacraments. It was a program that started at 6:00 a.m., and we dismissed around 9:00 a.m.

Immediately after the program, I rushed and completed the post I was writing for the Steem Alliance community because it had been a while since I wrote that community because of my many programs over the past few days.

When I was done with that, I decided to do a little cleanup of the house because my work that day doesn't allow me to do that as I go out every working day by 7:00 a.m., and then come back most times around 7:00 p.m., also I needed to assist my friend Josepha in some choices since most times he does it alone.

When I was done I decided to prepare food and we ate then I took my bath and rested for a while as I had a few office works I needed to still tidy before the end of the day. When I woke up from sleep, I quickly attended to the various emails sent to me by my HR and Ag MD then since tomorrow would be Sunday and usually I cut my hair every 2 weeks I hurriedly went to the barbing salon to do that before night fall.

The image above shows me before and after barbing my hair in the salon. When I was done, I then went ahead to visit my former landlord because it has been a while we met because of the schedule of my work. Also I went to him because I needed maize 🌽 as well since I have eaten cooked maize since this season started.

I didn't meet him at home when I went but luckily for me I met his wife and I asked her of it and she granted my request. The maize 🌽 I collected is seen in the picture above. My plans for the maize today is to go ahead and cook it with plenty of groundnut since we don't have pea around this place. This will serve as my food for the night because I have been eaten others things like junks for the past few days and I needed a change of food.

I got back home and then prepared the maize and groundnut they way I wanted it and then I went ahead to eat it with my friend Josepha. It was a beautiful day well spent and I'm delighted to share it with you all. See you all in my next post.
