Photography is what I feel captures the treasured moments in ones life but I also find that just like writing it is also an art as the beauty and meaning of a photograph can be expressed and shared in many ways but without words.

Some of you who know me may have already caught on that I like photography but haven't shared much of it here on Steemit I have started doing this and the feedback as been very positive so lets continue doing that from now on 28/03/2018 I will try and share some from time to time.

Power Cable Photography, Crays High Voltage Electricity Power Tower Cables, December 12 2016

A high voltage power transmission tower a steel structure these towers of electrical power are mostly seen in the United Kingdom, Canada and some parts of Europe they are tall metal structures usually made from steel they are used to support an overhead power line.
They are used in high-voltage AC and DC systems and yes they do infact come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes they typical come in the height ranges of 15 to 55 m but there are indeed much taller ones.
I really like this photo because of the lighting this was actually taken in the morning so there should of been plenty of light but as you can see there was instead plenty of clouds at this time of the morning, but with the sky still being bright enough I was able to get this wonderful snap capturing the complex shape of this power cable tower.

The very first one, the tower cable which is seemed like someone just art the whole thing.
That B&W gives it a new way of thinking.
And the point of view of that photograph just fulfilled the whole satisfaction.

Yes I have to agree considering its a power tower cable it seems like they turned it into something artistic and yes the point of view is exactly how I wanted it because of the colour of the sky I knew it would be perfect what I really like about this is the snap is actually not in black and white its all natural using the right angle of light and a certain darker type of day @thirdeye7

I so love the tower photography.....
I work in a 330/33kv power station...
It's always cool hearing the sound from the cables due to corona effect.

Wow really @kerry777 that is so cool glad I could bring in something related to your work, oh I see I thought I have heard something before when near them now I know the sound comes from the corona effect thank you.

Definitely these electrical towers are imposing structures and a little frightening. Avoid being near them when it's raining. Greetings @simonjay

Yes indeed some people dont like them at all and do find them as imposing structures and frightening, yes regardless of safety I would rather not be near anything electrical if it was to rain thanks @cjao20 for your view.
