Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 11/8/2023.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 6 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 11/8/2023.

August 2023 this marks us past the halfway point of the year already, the Government is doing trials on universal basic income schemes. This isn't the UBI for those who don't have jobs but it means everybody will get this wage. UBI as been in the works for many years some think this will solve many problems while others believe it will cause more of them, it could also very well destroy the value of any currency who takes this scheme up. As for Steem we previously had a big fall that took it down to $0.14 and with such a fall this helped us with collecting more Steem. This also had part in helping us reach for our main goal this year which was to finally reach Orca this means holding a total of 50k Steem Power. A 6 year project in the making was finally reached on July 21th. Also if you want Steem to be a success or just looking to earn more you should vote mostly on those who do not power down. Powering down lowers the value of Steem, meaning it lowers the value of your investment and even the Steem that your earning from posting. My account is a example as one of the very few on here who is not powering down rewards. I also buy into Steem often, your votes encourage me to keep on buying even more which helps tackle the Steem price from being low. By voting on these posts we try to protect and raise the price of Steem, we also plan to use this to buy even more when the price goes up we are also considering using this power to lend others for Steem to try and raise the price of Steem. We are experimenting a bit with this but still a long way from having the Steem needed to fully try so your votes are welcome on getting us there. During the bitcoin downwave from 60k it also sadly took down the value of SBD's, however SBD's have done a excellent job at holding around that important $3 mark for many months. My hope is that SBD's will once again secure this value for when Steem does eventually go back up again. As for Steemit the Team they are having better results with smaller curation teams, around 4 or 5 people per team. This means there is less room for curator positions and so competition to apply as been tougher, however it's said that the rewards will be greater. Tron as been once again not appearing in our wallets it looks like a general issue but it's probably connected to the fact that TRX will once again be reduced going from the ratio of 1 Steem to 0.25 TRX or in other words meaning that will be 0.25 TRX for every 1 Steem Power earned. Not going to lie I feel this kind of sucks I'm wondering now if they will continue to lower it until it will be zero. The cost of living is spiralling upwards the reasoning said for all these high prices is the war in the Ukraine, guess we must be literally getting almost every single thing from 2 very specific countries. The on-going war is a terrible moment in our history, they attack, strike up fear, call-out threats and cast sadness into the lives of many. A war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs, as continued provocation is on-going "we do NOT want WW3" but perhaps to stop that it may be already much too late.

Last night I went to sleep earlier than the usual late hour, this was mostly because I had to cut things sort as I needed to get caught up on some sleep desperately. After only getting less than 4 hours of rest because I needed to be up extra early for work yesterday morning. I slept well last night which was no surprise considering how tired I was but at least being over tired didn't cause me any sleep issues. I did wake up before my alarm unfortunately this happened twice which I think was because I was worried about over sleeping. I tried going back to sleep and rested until my alarm I was surprised that even with the little extra sleep I still felt so tired but sadly I couldn't rest for any longer. As for the morning weather I noticed that lately it begins cloudy, strange for the time of year I know but that means for most of July and August it's not been boiling hot. However this last week it's definitely got much warmer as for the weather this morning it was somewhat bright but was still mostly a cloudy one. But I found it difficult to judge on whether it will turn into a nice day later or not due to some really dark clouds in the distance, regardless it was still very muggy out from what I could gather as it was still warm in my room when I woke up which I think as caused me a bit of a sore throat. Once up there wasn't really time for me to get much of anything done as I had to be in work soon. When my free time was up I went for a quick breakfast before changing and then heading out to work. Leaving I noticed the clouds clearing and the sun shinning it looked like it was going to be a decent day and of course I would be in work for all of it. My hayfever started on Thursday June 8th I have so far had 3 bad experiences this year. June 25th being the worst, it was severe enough that it took me over a week to recover from it but since that week I have not had any hayfever. I noticed on the way to work that some bushes that I have know to be there since being in the area had been suddenly cut and cleared. Not only was it shocking to see it all cleared but I was amazed by just how much space these bushes were covering I had no idea it was that much. I do however feel sorry for the animals as I know many would use it as a shelter and a safe place to run into unfortunately with much of that torn down with more to go they are going to lose out on a lot of space. When I got to work even with it still being a early shift it was at least late enough that I hoped I wouldn't need to bother with the morning routine, and that I would be back to doing the usual. Well since my boss was off today there is no way he could take over and so I was back to doing the usual, this was without having to get done any of the morning routine work as another colleague had already done all that before I arrived. I did however expect to cover the usual guy but he didn't come and bug me until later lol which in one way I think is better but I guess it depends on how I feel on the day. I notice the superiors keep marking the weekly tasks as done even if that is suppose to be our own individual job to get signed off. There as now been a few instances where a superior as signed off for me a job that I feel was only half done, it annoys me that they do this because if someone checks later it wont be done to high standards as simply it's not been fully completed. Well I spent most of the morning working on the same weekly task from yesterday until later when the extra work arrived. I didn't look forward to it because I knew I would likely already be feeling tired by the time it arrives. I'm not sure if it was tired but I felt uncomfortable at work because of the strange heat on my floor even with some cool air blowing in this muggy heat just wouldn't shift. And of course the extra work had to be in right on time today which I was hoping wouldn't happen but it's always early when I really don't want it to be lol. Honestly it was a bit of a struggle to get much done due to the stuffy air, to the point that when I left I was disappointed with how much was still left. Regardless I still believe the team can get it all done because today was in some extra help but I was just done with it for the day. As I was about to leave work it seems I just missed out on the superiors having a bickering, from what I can understand one found the other to be insensitive as they had not asked if they had their break while the other one said he assumed the break had already been take. Kind of silly and petty coming from people who suppose to be our leaders as this could of very easily been resolved with them simply communicating with each other which is something we are always told to do by them lol. Leaving the building and getting outside was right away a game changer I quickly started to feel better as I made my way home. While it was indeed a hot day still being outside was a world of difference much cooler than being on that floor. And so like on most days like this when I arrived home I expected my room to be just as hot because it's normally roughly the same from the one at work but no my room was actually still much better than the one from work which seems to prove there was something not right there today. Once home I began doing some chores, had a shower, and honestly I was feeling exhausted from being up twice now on the very early however not as bad as yesterday where I had to nap for nearly 2 hours, and lastly I went on Steemit. I have all the documents organised for my trip but what I find frustrating is I brought some insurance for the trip but I can't find anywhere where it fully explains to me all that it covers and it's usage details. When hanging out with friends I learned that 2 couples we knew had split up but surprisingly were keeping it very low key on socials. I say strange as they have partners who love drama and attention so it's unlike them to not be announcing everything. One of them as also started a weight loss business which I have my doubts that it will really go anywhere and it's something I will be looking into as some claim she's just selling muck. Also guys does anybody know of a good site these days where you can watch TV shows or movies for free??
