Good morning my friends......
Today, I’m going to just throw out some random thoughts, pertaining to what I see going on.
Just about everything around us is falling apart at the seams. Yet, just about everyone is walking around with blinders on. Is it just me or do you see the same thing?
Precious metals have taken a tremendous beating in the last several months, with absolutely no just cause. I’m well aware that precious metals take a dip historically in June & July but the absolute smack down is not justified.
Since metals have been taking a beating, you would think that the crypto market would be thriving. Yet, that is not the case. Instead the crypto market is taking a similar beating if not worse.
The US dollar is up, yet we are in more debt then ever as a country with NO solution in sight. The buying power of the dollar keeps getting weaker with the continual rising of consumer products.
When does it end? This is absolute INSANITY.....
The world as we know it is going to come crashing down. This just can’t keep going on like this.
What are your thoughts?

The markets are making no sense. ... metals down way down. . . . cryptos down crashing. . . . debt out of control . . . insanity!

I think that's why the Zombie Apocalypse themed dramas are so popular as a subconscious reflection of our real world problems. Just made tax free $60 and that will be going to Silver!
The world has indeed gone mad, in fact if you look at the share charts for pretty much every world currency they are all way down at the moment, in fact in the last few days the Turkish lira has totally dive-bombed - which would be great for me as an importer of Turkish coffee roasters - except they were canny enough to always request payment in USD.
To be fair when the price drops low on anything you either hold it or buy even more if you can.
Anyway - how did you get on fixing the lathe?

At some point it has to break...they can’t fake it forever. Of course they do, they know their money is useless. I had to order a new surface planer, won’t be here for 3-4 weeks. But my shaper went back down as well. When it rains it pours. I’m trying not to lose my mind right now. Thanks for stopping by, much appreciated.👍
Oh dear, that isn't good at all - Hammer and Chisel and an Angle Grinder? (after the pipe burst in winter at my work I could not find the plane, so ended up angle grinding the swollen toilet door so it would shut again lol)
