Well I have been waiting for this one to come out, I kinda figured this would be one of the 1st new designs to come out by Geiger but they waited and released a few other sizes 1st.

This is the all new design by Geiger, it is a 100 gram bar. Geiger is leading the way in security features that make counterfeiting this bar nearly impossible.

Still staying with the UV light security feature, once a UV light is shined on to this bar, the Geiger Logo and year it was produced will glow.

Now they do come with a little higher premium than most bars and rounds. New this year is a COA which is kinda cool, not sure if they have every produced a COA for a standard bar.

Each Geiger Edelmetalle silver bar is expertly packaged and secured with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Geiger uses security capsules for all individual silver bars for sale, and the serial number that uniquely identifies each bar is reflected on the included Certificate of Authenticity you receive with purchase.

Geiger Edelmetalle is located in the mountainous region of Germany known as Saxony. Set in the southeastern reaches of Germany, the nations oldest silver trade started around Leipzig and has been powered for years by the expert refining and processing of precious metals by Geiger.

In the Original Series of silver and gold bars, Geiger presents its most classic of designs on bullion bars. The headquarters of the refinery is featured on one side of the bars, while the other side has a repeating design of the refinerys LEV rhombus logo. There are numerous security features built into each Geiger bar to protect against counterfeiting.

On the obverse of each 100 Gram Geiger Square Silver Bar is a beautiful depiction of Schloss Guldengossa, the headquarters of Geiger Edelmetalle today. The castle was built in 1720 outside of Leipzig and was the first registered facility by Geiger Edelmetalle. The minted obverse of the bars features a pearl finish for enhanced security.

Each of the Geiger Original Series square bars has a ribbed edge around the outside typically found on bullion coins. The reverse of these Geiger Square Silver Bars includes a textured, high-relief production of the LEV rhombus logo used by Geiger Edelmetalle. There is also a printed, unique serial number with a one-letter, seven-digit code. There is also a UV coating on the reverse, which under black light reveals another LEV rhombus and highlights the serial number.

Geiger Edelmetalle opened outside of Leipzig in 1218. For 800 years, the refinery has been at the center of the nations silver industry. In addition to gold and silver bars, Geiger coins the popular Armenian Silver Noahs Ark coins.
