The Diary Game #43: Share your day with us! | May 03, 2024 | Grocery shopping of the day
It was a beautiful Friday when I had a little grocery shopping from super shop and other local shops too. Here in this blog I'm going to show off my grocery shopping with activities of the day. Hope this going to be a good read for you so feel free to keep scrolling.
Weekly at least two days I don't follow my daily routine for few hours because that time I spend outside home. That day I completed my daily activities online and offline before going to a grocery. Before explaining the evening experience let me share how I started my day and how my Fridays mostly look life.

Woke up early because you know I try to be regular on performing prayers. Had a short morning nap before breakfast. Every Friday the breakfast, lunch and dinner menu is same and this is a routine meal menu that my hostel follow. In the Friday morning the menu is Hotchpotch rice with egg fry.
Lunch is also as always beef curry with rice and dal(pulse) with gourd. It taste good but the dinner is worse. So I usually bring my dinner from the restaurants on Friday. I plan Friday to make it a happy day for me so I feed myself with something yummy.

After performing afternoon prayer I went for the grocery shopping. I need to buy some eggs and went to super shop for good quality dabbas dates.
Super shops care about their service and product quality so I trust them and usually buy trustworthy products from there. Though super shops here charge 2% or more VAT for most of their products.

I went to super shop Agora and bought 1kg dates from them paying 682 BDT including VAT (Approximately 25 steem and 6 US dollars), this was imported dates so price is high.
By the way, dabbas dates are most cheap dates in price, other dates are more expensive and out of reach for the lower middle class people and you can add me one of them. I bought healthy fruits like pineapple and grapes.
I also bought my dinner beef biryani from a reputed restaurant name Dhaka Biriyani house. I paid using mobile wallet by scanning QR code for dates and also for this yummy dinner. I had some good time outside and I had a sound sleep at night. I must say, It was a beautiful day and praise to be Almighty Allah for giving me ability to afford my own food and needs!
