The moment I have been waiting for after 10 months...

I can't believe it has already been 10 months since I joined Steemit! Now I have over 700+ followers! I'm glad I kept posting even through the hard times and the difficult early months as a newbie. And now with HF19, things are looking more and more bright for Steem and Steemit in the future!

Steemit has totally changed the way I use social media, it is now the only place where I share my photos online (maybe except the occasional Instagram or Facebook post). It has also made me a better person, I hope, through interaction with the community! Overall, it's one of the best things that's happened to me in the past year!

Advice for newcomers

Keep going even when the times are tough, and keep on striving to make better content. If you do so, success will come, I'm sure of it!

I recall the days when I made several posts in a row that never made more than 1 SBD, but through persistence and the desire to keep on improving my posts, the rewards gradually came. So don't give up!

Also, it is very important to engage with the community, and leave feedback and comments on others' posts. Genuine feedback will be noticed and your network of influence will start to grow.

I'm planning something special for when I reach 1000 followers, but meanwhile, please enjoy this mosaic of photos I've shared in the past 10 months on Steemit!

Lastly, I want to thank the awesome photography community here on Steemit and my followers, you know who you are ;)
