Progress not perfection. Today is a time to celebrate … Why? … A small milestone was achieved. I finally hit 100 followers ...
How Did You Do It?
I got to learn about Steemit early in 2017, but only decided to give it a go and registered in October. Not much happened in October. I was still in research mode looking into the Steem blockchain and its ecosystem.
I started dropping content on Steemit in November. Continued doing so in December. December was a slow month with all the festivities going on. Got back to it 11 January 2018 and have been working it ever since.
On the 23 January I finally hit 100 followers. ... Whoop, Whoop ...
What Have I Learned?
Disclaimer: This is what I’ve learned and is currently working for me. It might be different for other users.
Well, I know this ....
- You have to create at least one peace of content per day.
- You have to build your content + network combined.
- You are going to have to use Bots to promote you posts in the beginning.
- You will progress faster if you invest some money into it.
Recent Discoveries
Users who started in 2016 when Steemit just launched do well. Why? … They kept at it. Invested time creating content and their own money into Steemit. They generated large followings and their investment grew which allows them to do things even bigger and better.
Video content seems to perform better than script content.
It is recommended to hoard Steem power, because this is where the real value is.
50 000 active users.
200 000 new posts per day.
1000 new accounts created daily.
1277 on the Alexa ranking and climbing.
1.5 million transactions a day on the blockchain. (more than any other)
The top 100 accounts has 93% of the Steem power. ... MMMmmm …
