Hello my steemit friends, you are fine, so today I am going to do my achievement 03. So today I am very happy to have come this far with steemit. So guys today I am trying to teach you about plagiarism as much as I know. So let's see what plagiarism is.

What is plagiarism in simple terms? Actually, plagiarism is when you copy someone's idea, a part of a publication that has been presented, either without his knowledge or with his knowledge, and present it as your own. So guys, this is the basic misunderstanding of what I am presenting to you. So Plagiarism is basically divided into 05 parts. Let's see what they are.

Type of plagiarism

  1. Verbatim plagiarism
  2. Patchwork plagiarism
  3. Paraphrasing plagiarism
  4. Global plagiarism
  5. Self plagiarism

Now let's see what are these types of plagiarism..

01. Verbatim plagiarism

Verbatim plagiarism means taking an idea from a web page and adding your own idea and presenting it as your own. So this does not make 100% copy.

02.Patchwork plagiarism

Patchwork plagiarism is the same as Verbatim plagiarism. So 100% of the information is taken from the internet. And because they want to make the idea their own, they also add their own ideas. That is why it is called patchwork.

03. Paraphrasing plagiarism

In this case, someone presents an expression as their own. So, guys, what is different about this one is that they don't have any ideas at this point. 100% just other people's opinions.

04. Global plagiarism

So guys, this is the same as the previous one. But the differences in this are that someone from abroad copies an idea and someone else writes an expression like their own. For example, getting your assiment done by someone else.

05. Self plagiarism

Finally there is self plagiarism. Let's see what this means. So guys, what happens here is to repeat your old article. So, for example, you can take your old assiment as a new assiment again and again.

How to avoid plagiarism

Don't copy and paste

Add citation if you copy or get information from internet.

Don't use third party application to rewrite the copied content.

So guys, I see it as theft to take other people's ideas and make them your own. So friends, it is more valuable than copying someone else's things to build your own thing in the way you can. It makes them feel happy too. So I'll stop by to wish you guys a good day.
