Powering Down ALL my STEEM Power
I have recorded a couple of difficult videos since I have been part of the STEEM community but this is for sure the MOST difficult one.
There are some stuff happening in my life and this is the only solution I can think of.
It hurts me so much.
And I wish this was just another one of my clickbaits. But this is 100000% real. Unfortunately.
I hope everyone understands and won't be mad at me for doing this.
Also I hope I can get back in track to be able to come and keep supporting everyone.

Big mistake, my friend! Sorry, but I have to be real when it comes to good and influential content creators like yourself. Not sure on your situation in detail but really REALLY consider other options to get yourself out of it. "When" STEEM turns around, your upvotes will improve significantly in value. It happened before, it can definitely happen again. Destroying the "Golden Goose" should be the absolute last resort, especially with prices this low at the moment. My opinion, of course.
I understand things get difficult in life, especially in the financial department, but powering down at this stage, after all you've built. Well, that must be painful for you to do as well as for us to watch.
I wish you all the best and, for what it's worth, hope you stop that powerdown and hang on to the STEEM you've worked hard to accumulate thus far. Good luck in whatever decision you choose to make, bud.
Oh yeah. It is extremely difficult and sad. And unfortunately i am only doing it as it is my last resource. You know how expensive is London. I rent a room that i have just found out that have been "tricked" by my flatmates and I am paying more than I should. Now one of them is leaving so that means I will be paying even more. And I was not too bothered with the money I was paying before for the room. But now with that increase it is not really fair or that nice of a place to be paying that money. So i need to plan moving...look for a new place... have money to pay the first rent, plus the deposit, plus the moving. So I am really in a deep whole and in a situation that I have no other solution. Believe me when I tell You that becoming a plankton again it is not what I am looking forward. But I hope that by the 3 months mark and by the time I have got all that money out I will be able to build up and have already a nice amount of STEEM power again. Will be working harder in bigger and better content. But my heart is broken and as You said...not only losing that influence is bad but also I am doing it in a time that I won't even be taking that much profit because of the way the market is.... 😭 but it is that or not have a place to live. That is how bad it is.

Life is changing, our invests/savings and our challenges as well brother. I can understand your sadness and doubts about all the work you have done to collect that steem but you know what? You are using your past work for your real life. Your steem has now a direct usage for you as person. Keep your head up, keep creating and start to collect again mate :)

Debating on this as well. Mine is to be able to attend SF, But I keep wondering if it's worth it to sell so much tokens for just an event I can attend in future? I also do feel like taking a break from STEEM & Build Another Source of Income, of the 50/50 EPS Passes I don't see how I can continue to be a fulltime steemian, #decisions #decisions
I say, do what you have to, when you get settled & probably get a better job, you can buy back in slowly as you also create content. Yours is a noble reason. Best Wishes in Your New Life <3 <3

Unhappy with your choice. But I am understanding it. Anyway, once someone gets a username on the Steem blockchain, it has two roads to go:
Of course, first road is the desirable one. But second one is also ok, as long as the user keeps interacting on the blockchain and adding value to other's posts, even if not in the form of upvotes. That's to say, I don't find nothing wrong on your choice. It is difficult to take and I respect it. I also expect you to keep publishing content on the Steem blockchain, as it doesn't have anything to do with having any amount of Steem Power on your wallet.
Sorry for not helping you with an upvote on this post, but I recently decided to stop upvoting both YouTube content and DTube posts. I could instead tip you with DTC tokens, but, as long as they are still in the testnet, I find it will not do any good to you, @sergiomendes
It is a matter of need. As i said i am not happy either. 😭😭😭 but i am not leaving and I will be bringing content and trying to support everyone else as much as I can. Also hope to be able to recover some steem power soon. :)

Wish you all the best.😀 I am powering down as well, but just because I think that this is getting very confusing with all the tokens, reminds me of waves... ☹️ Also, I think that it might be the wrong place for beauty content, and funny content or educational content. Probably free speech and crypto-content... But secretly I hope that it will change in the future, so I am staying active. See you around 😊
No... don't do it. Specially now with this new dtube version this is the place to be. I am not going anywhere either. I just need extra money that I don't have to solve a life situation that was unexpected. Believe me. If this haven't happen I would never power down. This is just the tip of the iceberg. And things are aboyt to change for better.

Well, yes. I think that there are better opportunities. And I want to grow my business 😊 So I will take that money and buy some tools,makeup,books etc. so that I can do more tutorials/reviews. I could wait and let it grow, but we don't know if that will happen it's only speculation. Also, I prefer to grow my social media channels to attract more viewers... We are content creators so we need to create content
I am doing the same. Half SP i am powering down . Another half stay in my account, but if steem will have so low price then ... don't know. We will see in the future
If You don't need that money. Don't power down. This is not a good market situation to be powering down and exchanging steem
