Please reflect on that for a minute... maybe read it a couple times again, what does it mean?

The text was written probably around 1549 and published clandestinely in 1576 under the title of Le Contr'un. source
Translated this means Against One, as rising against one ruler.

The text above comes from the idea that In childhood, presumably because the rational faculties are not yet developed, we obey our parents; but when grown, we should follow our own reason, as free individuals.

This is so true, and it is the natural law... look at the way some animals behave. Once the child is ready to leave the nest (through reason and agility), it's all about freedom!

I've just started this short book, but you know what's funny is that it has been referred to by a couple anarcho-capitalists who study austrian economics!!! Very interesting. What rabbit hole have I stumbled into....
