Summer Memories: Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh, Scotland
Edinburgh is one of my favourite cities in the world. Behind every building, around every corner and along every alley is another intriguing story unfolded. Layered with history, romance, culture, and boasting some of the world’s finest architecture, cuisine and castles; both its old and new towns are UNESCO World Heritage Sites and once you throw in some of urban Europe’s best scenery it’s easy to understand why this beautiful city tops so many polls. I love the free museums, the festival atmosphere and of course the whisky trails. During the summer festivals, the city welcomes over 4million tourists with the Fringe Festival attracting over 500,000 tourists alone.
Shortly I will be travelling there for the holidays. Can't beat a Scottish Hogmanay.
