First 10 days on steemit;A brief report of a Newbie
I have been around here for last 10 days.I learnet many basic things that I have to imbibe well in order to continue my journey smoothly.A report on my a little more than a week journey.
###Day 1###
I recieved the password through E-mail a week after the registration.I followed all the steps steemit website asked me to.When I first entered to the Home page,as similar to many other social networking sites,Steemit asked me to follow someone in order to read stories.As I didn't know whom to follow,I blindly hit on the follow buttons of almost more than 60 accounts In hope that I could interact with someone. I again came back to my feed only to see that it was filled up with some alien languages! All those languages I was seeing for the first time in my life.I was embarrassed but planned not to give up.I signed out and fell asleep!
###Day 2###
Even though everything appeared alien and not my piece of cake, I determined to fight back strongly and post my #Introduceyourself story.I had nothing much to tell about myself and I found that the post had almost gone unnoticed.Fortunately,I found 2 fellow Steemians who welcomed me in 'English' under the comment section! I was all happy to find someone who is able to understand English.I visited their profiles and started researching on their following list.I chose those who understand English.Now luckily my feed filled up with English posts where I could interact!
###Day 3###
I continued to interacting with people through comments to find someone interesting.It is on this day that I found a person from my state in India.The level of my happiness soared high and I posted the comment under that post in our Regional language itself(Obviously the person I'm talking about is @sayee) . Now I could see the change happening in the number of people following me.It went up to hit double digits!
###Day 4###
I noticed a high dollar value in one of my previous day post.But the number of people who had upvoted that post was very few.It was a total departure from what I was thinking about steemit upvoting system before.I found that the guy who upvoted my post was a high profiled steemian whose 1 upvote can cause a drastic change!! I felt pity on my level of knowledge and started searching for the guides that teaches what exactly the steemit is!So this is the day I garnered a good knowledge about steemit upvoting and all.
###Day 5###
One of the exhortations I had imbibed from the studying of previous day was 'Interact with people,Start making comments!'..I was so fascinated by this advice and started making Innumerable comments..It is only when I saw a Pop up message reading 'Your band width limit is exceeded,you can't post anymore' that I realised it is not like Facebook..Everything has cerain guidelines to follow..So it is the time again to focus on learning!
###Day 6###
Most part of this day I remained silent watcher,trying to learn whatever possible about steemit and cryptocurrency..I unfollowed so many unnecessary accounts.I searched for the Steemians posting good and valuable contents.I came to know that steemit is not only about producing crap and making money,but also about producing high valued content and go in Oblivion as unsung heroes.
###Day 7###
This is the day I was about to recieve my first payouts in its evening.I spent the day with commenting whenever I felt is necessary.Having gathered adequate knowledge about bandwidth and steem power I imparted it into my habit to keep an eye on these parts..This is the day when I got to know about upvoting robots.I got a meagre payout this evening and determined to experiment it on bots.
###Day 8###
After receiving my first payouts I understood pretty well the functioning of steemit.I posted some limited contents and experimented with bots..I succeeded in that effort.I was rewarded for my paying.As I was new to this platform I didn't know to convert the SBDs I recieved into tradable money. I experimented it within steemit and ended up converting almost all I had into steem power!
###Day 9###
I noticed my reputation increasing higher as I post more and get more upvotes.Here I noticed one common thing..The ones having higher reputation are the most searched for and the entire steem and steemit belongs to them!
###Day 10###
Having learnt a lot about cryptos and gathered adequate knowledge on steemit I have determined not to leave this platform..I am optimistic that I can make it big if I focus more on acting wisely.
###Conclusion###
One thing I'm very much sure about is,if you are a person having something with you to express and know to act wisely,The steemit is yours..It will take time..But the success is obvious!

The American politician, Donald Rumsfeld, made a notorious speech about "known unknowns" and "unknown unknowns". It is all over Google. It seems very relevant here! There is so much that I don't know that I don't know!
